Theif in the Night said
"I'll add that it would be much easier for the Stones to justify continuing if they were to show that they had more of a purpose than to run through the same 15 songs every night."

I agree with you very much. Maybe if they seemed to be trying show they are a credible and current band by playing more new songs and recent songs and different songs there'd be a reason to tour.

However, I saw Bill on Jerry Hall's show Kept a few times. He was an @#$%&. Sorry, but he was. I wuoldn't want to hang out with him. He was very rude and only had mean things to say about the contestants on that show.

Let's face it: The day Bill left he became a whiner. "Stones should stop" he says. Who's foolish then? What a jerk.

All Bill wants is that the Stones lay off
so that his band "Rythm Kings" can sell out
a 100 person capacity venue one day!

They were in my hometown one summer and played
in a night club located in a big hotel near the beach.

There were more people on the beach that evening
than in the nightclub they played in.

Stop envying the old lads, Bill!

Taylor handled his departure with a lot more dignity than Wyman who has humiliated himself. MT was a much bigger loss than Wyman as well who is just a bitter old fart. I wonder what his screen name is here?

Can we trust Mail On Sunday? How about the possibilty they've blown up this story, spiced up his comments or have not spoken to Bill at all?

Agree.Has he been quoted accurately? Alas if he has I would conclude he is entitled to his opinion and there may even be some truth to it.However I'm still glad their active and hope they continue flaws and all for as long as they wish to.

Bill's probably not missqouted or story blown up.
He has been nagging about this for years now.
Certainly not the first or the last time he will bring this subject up.
This is where he gets his money from. Being interwieved by newspaper and magazines. Probably he's making a lot of money out of this.

I hope the Stones are going on for longer than he does giving these interwievs

Have you all read 'Stone Alone'?
So much bitterness and resentment.

Obviously still rankles that he was never regarded as a vital part of 'The Greatest Rock'n'Roll Band'
