It must be the 2 albums I don´t listen to at all or just once a year:

Satanic (still has got 4 great songs!)

and (hm, I have to think)

Flashpoint! (all tracks except for Factory girl) were polished in the
studio. Yes, it´s a studio album!)

Dirty Work

Voodoo Lounge (although I do like The Worst and Love Is Strong)

Not a real big fan of B2B or Got Live If You Want It either.

Bridges to Babylon and A Bigger Bang.

Bridges to Babylon is a fantastic album. Far surpassing everything since Some Girls in both production and songwriting, as well as emotion. It was edgy and dangerous and different, that's why people on this board don't like it. It's the only album they have that won't sound dated 10 years from now. Even VL and ABB will sound dated soon. B2B sounds current and unique.

The weakest? Satanic and probably Dirty Work. Unless you count Keith's live albums.

Sorting Rolling Stones albums depending on quality is irrelevant. It is strictly a matter of opinion, and has nothing to do with information, and does not improve my knowledge of the band or their history. Therefore, I see no need to take part in this thread.

I'd say Dirty Work and Emotional Rescue. smiling smiley

Dirty Work is my favourite album since Some Girls, especially because of Hold Back, Dirty Work, Sleep Tonight, One Hit, Fight. Excellent rock'n roll!

Thanks for informing me why I'm not that crazy about it. Funny, I thought it was because the songs weren't that good . . .but thanks for clearing that up.

We have two of the most atmospheric albums here. Aftermath feels like a deep and dark journey into a strange afterlife. Some Girls is a sexy, moody tribute to glam rock almost. It's dirty.

Those are two wonderful albums, IMHO

To convince other individuals that sorting Rolling Stones albums depending on quality is irrelevant.

Ah, I see you're a newbie here. Welcome. In time you'll learn that everything that's discussed on this board is irrelevant.

Irrelevancy is a cognitive form of destruction.

Err, Silver Blood, this is not a purely informational site. It is a CHAT site - which, of course, means that opinions are going to be a major part of it.

Here's my opinion: you've come to the wrong place.

HaHaHa. Silver Blood, you're funny.

I'm trying to figure out which of our regular posters you are. I'm thinking StonesTod.

Question for you. Besides advancement, what else is relevant?

Silver Blood has been sent from the future to destroy Sarah Connor, but got sidetracked when he came to the IORR forum

Something tells me he's just giving us guff because he thinks it's funny
