Since no one else is, I will do the predictable thing and disagree.
A few of the sixties songs are OK, fey psychedelia, but many, many other bands did it better.
They were certainly a hit machine though, no question, Stayin Alive, Night Fever and Jive Talkin are guilty pleasures, but apart from Saturday Night Fever the albums are the worst garbage, one hit, 9 filler, usual standard seventies corporate practice.

As Kenny Everett used to say

"Meaningless songs in veryyyyyyyyyyy high voices"

You guys probably werent Dead Kennedys fans I should imagine smiling smiley

I'd definitely recommend a greatest hits collection, not the individual CD's.

Can`t disagree with that....
although I was familiar with the albums listed above in the 70s (my friend`s sister had them) I bought one th Greatest Hits CDs a couple of years ago.

I'm with hr77, just didnt want to spoil the good mood.
Some early stuff is ok. The disco era did brainwash most of us
for good & bad, so that cant just be judged fair.

As disco concerns I say - let's walk the line & bring us the
pure homo band like Hot Chocolate & Village People etc etc etc.

Sorry, Bro, I'll draw the line at the Village People! Don't stay at the YMCA when you come to America!
