The Stones and touring

With all the speculation on what will happen with charlie here, the solution is to go back to way they toured '69-'82. What? One month in'69. 10 months later 6 weeks in Europe. This was followed 4 months later by a handful of dates in Great Britian. 18 months later, a 2 month tour of North america. Then what? 5 months after that, a month tour of the Pacific. 6/7 months later, a 2 month tour of Europe. Then roughly 18 months till they toured Noth American........
You get the picture, shorter tours, more time off. No more 108 shows like on the 97/98 tour. I think they could do tours like the '99 tour. Age is catching up with them. They know longer even do back to back shows. IMO, this the way to go. I am simply amazed they are still around. Just wondering out loud.

Gazza has said the same thing many times, but with better spelling and punctuation.

But now it takes 4-6 weeks of rehearsal to get ready and lots of shows to pay for staff, travel, and Four Seasons Hotel. Can they make it a profitable venture on a smaller scale?

Nikkibong! Thanks for the austere observation. Spelling seems ok. Punctuation was off. Did not realize it was your night to grade us here on our posting. But after reading some of your dull comments on other peoples post here I can see why you have some much time on your hands. Keep up the good work!

You did not capitalize the first word in your reply. Oh well, I accept you error. Can we still be friends? Is all forgiven?

Nikkibong! All is well. Have a good day or should I say night. See you around Stonesland. By the way, I like Don't Stop. Wish they still played it.

They have such emmense wealth already that the next five generations of thier families can all live in Four Seasons Hotels for their entire lives and still have money left over.
