Just saw this on Rolling Stones.com. They started the show with Satisfaction. Good/strong song list.

Ain't Too Proud To Beg, huh? Not really a fan of that one, but a rare song.. nice to see Sway's become a regular.

Very cool list. Too bad about Rambler, but Sway, WAY and ATPTB work well together. Damn! Wish I were in Australia.

For more info go to connection here on IORR. Click on RS.com. Go to Virtual Ticket.(Just in case any one here is not aware). When I last checked no one had posted any comments on the show. I have been curious as to what song they would use as a opener when they come back this fall. Satisfaction is a good choice. Last used in "97/'98.

WHOO HOOO
Had I been there the person in front of me would have turned to tell me not to bother him/her with my walking stick.

About the best set so far of the tour. SSC, Sway, WAY, ATPTB, TPIE, GOOMC and Night Time... I would have demanded a more expensive ticket.

pretty similar to one of the MSG shows in January. Aint too proud to beg was a nice surprise that night. Always like to see that one being dusted off.

Interesting set list. It must have been great to hear Sway, Worried 'Bout You and Ain't too Proud..in the same night all in a row. Great for hard core fans!

I find it peculiar however that the opening numbers Satisfaction and LSTNT opened the BTB tour almost every night and the closing six following the Bstage were almost identical IN ORDER to the closing six on most nights for BTB. The lone exception is PIB is in the slot where Tumbling Dice was in '97-'98.

I guess it was inevitable and the fact they did not tour Australia (I think) for the BTB tour makes this point somewhat moot, but Chuck is repeating himself with these setlists.

They did a 21 song setlist, opened with Satisfaction, played Sway, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, Worried About You in the same night and DIDN'T play It's Only Rock N'Roll. Good to know they can still surprise us. Good stuff. Must have been a great show.

That setlist is the least you should expect from them. However I would be dissapointed with the opening half and disscusted with the end with no changes after 9 songs.

I wish they'd play more new songs. It's about time for She Saw Me Coming!! Or how about Streets of Love or Look What The Cat Dragged In.

With any luck they will skip your city on the leg. Then you wont have anything to be disappointed about.

satisfaction as opener is really the only surprise here because the sway and worried about you are becoming semi-regular songs to play. aint too proud is less-played, but i saw it at the 2nd chicago united center show. i do love that song and it was one of my favorite songs back in high school.

and i hate to say it, but i like satisfaction at the beginning so we get it out of the way - although these days it seems more appropriate as a finale song.
