The Milton Keynes Bowl is a hell-hole of a venue- it's a bummer for London based fans to get there. Crap public transport links, few hotels and the carpark is usually a mudbath/bog.
I feel sorry for people with Bon Jovi tickets- they've been hoodwinked big-time.
the local councillors will be driving around in spanking new Rolls Royce's , with the backhanders they must have taken, to secure a midweek Twickers concert.
fair-play to Michael Cohl, i'll be the first to knock him, but on this occasion he deserves words for praise, for putting in place sensible contingency plans.
Those poor schmucks with Bon Jovi tickets, have got to see their band, at the shithole that is Milton Keynes Bowl.
<<<<<<<< All original tickets for the relocated Take That and Bon Jovi concerts will remain valid, while Rolling Stones ticketholders will be issued with new tickets for Twickenham. >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Any ideas what this actually MEANS ? Do we get Wembley ticket refunds and then the ticket buying process for Twickers starts all over again, or do they simply re-issue; in other words print tickets with Twickers written on them instead of Wembley ?
Twickers is ok with me apart obviously hoping to see them at the new wembley and was hoping for weekend dates to save on holidays from work, but as long as the ticket arrangements are more or less the same im fairly happy.
"Please note that the Rolling Stones events scheduled for Wembley Stadium have NOT been cancelled. Both events will now take place at Twickenham Stadium on 20 and 22 August. All tickets will remain valid for the dates at Twickenham, and we will be in touch shortly via letter, or email with ticket details".

Well, that's good news. I just hope those of us with Block A, row 6 tickets will still be in block A, row 6 and not Block Z, row 50!!

That's exactly what I'm a bit worried about also, since I was lucky enough to get first row tickets in block A for both shows. I think this change of venue is rather unfortunate, but it's a good thing though the concert dates remain the same.

Not a problem as no tickets have been printed yet, just that the tickets will now have a different venue listed on them
I dont envisage any problems with allocations of the ticket numbers that we already have (ie pitch seats). The dimensions of the pitches at both stadiums will be relatively similar so it should just be the same
who said they've sold 160,000 tickets?? since they had the foresight to reserve a second venue, they would notice that there's a difference in capacity, right?

yup....52,000 for Twickenham last time - but in fairness, they could have squeezed some more seats on the pitch. Maybe they'll have a couple of thousand more people at these shows.
The shows that were switched to Milton Keynes are also going to a venue with a smaller capacity - and theyre still selling tickets. So, I assume that everyone who had booked Wembley had the foresight to hold several thousand tickets back.
