If you have golden circle seat, there is a point to remember.
As a champagne bottle with geisha girl character on it is contained in a bag of souvenirs for those seats, you can't get it before the show.
You have to exchange it with your stub after the show. A few girls who must be engaged as temporary worker or part-timer handled this in a small camp.
People had made long queue and consumed for a long time after the show in front of Gate 22.

By the way the special T-shirt for Tokyo with the orange style baseball t-shirt with Tokyo Dome etc on the back was sold out before the show started. Hopefully they are printing more before the 2nd show tomorrow.

Ronnie was great on You Can't Always Get What You Want, walking all the way up to the front and doing his best. But I would not rate it as the best one. Once you get such great versions of Sway as last night everything after that will be normal or just fine, not fantastic, if you see what you mean. Except Tumbling Dice, which was outstanding, both musically and performance wise, and Satisfaction, being the best version I have had of that song ever. And I have had that song many many times live.

Sway was striking. Ronnie did really really great job. I can't help listening Sticky Fingers now.

After that Mick wore a long black jacket. Keith took off his jacket, sat in a chair and picked his acoustic guitar. He started As tears go by eventually.

Consider killer association of Sway, As tears go by and Tumglin dice. I was on cloud nine.

By no means am I a set list apologist but, this set list wasn't that bad.Four new songs,a "new" (for the Stones) cover,Sway,As Tears Go By,She's So Cold,Get Off Of My Cloud,& Paint It Black (which had not been played in Japan for more than 16 years) all in the same show.9 out of 21 songs that had never been played in Japan + one that hadn't been done there in a long time.It actually seemed, for the first time in a while, that they were trying to avoid repeating themselves.Sure, they could have done better but,if they played almost half a concert worth of songs new to the city that they were playing in all of the time,I doubt that there would be as many disappointed long time fans.
