Led Zeppelin--DVD--buy and get prepared to get your socks blown off.

Ladies and Gentlemen is in that nebulous state of not really being a boot yet not "officially" released. Be that as it may--buy it instantly and see the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World.

Tom Petty from a few years back was great. Not his last sucky tour but the one before it...around the time of the Echo album

YES, especially Out of Control, Flip the Switch, Wanna Hold You and Tumbling Dice.

But if you want to keep your dinner down, don't watch the first few seconds of Let's Spend the Night Together. Chuck flashes a Vegas-style grin that prevented me from holding anything save apple sauce down for a week.

bridges to babylon dvd is good but it does not make use of the surround speakers like four flicks, sound wise it is average.

Led Zeppelin (3rd mention) is what all DVD's of Concerts / Bands in the 70's should be like. My hats off to Page for the effing BRILLIANT job he did on this 2 disc set - couldn't be better - this is as close as Home Theater comes to the real thing.
Lets hope he puts Disc 3 out with "Heartbreaker" from '73 MSG (where'd that disappear too?), '77 footage from Seattle in house / pro shot, And some more Knebworth footage - "Over the Hills and Far Away", "Ten Years Gone", "Hot Dog", a few others - if there's anything Pro from the 1980 European Tour that would be great !!

Bridges to Babylon is really good BUT some great songs (like "Last Time" - small stage) were cut out and the Sound could be slightly better. The usual Stones effort

Saw Tom Petty Above. I like ALL the Petty live stuff. 1 is a bit better than the other but they're all good.(3 different Tours are out there I think)

White Stripes Blackpool Lights just kicks ASS !!!

The Who at the Isle of Wight is totally Great !! Fantastic Sound Mix !!

Roger Waters Live (in Portland Oregon) - Blue Cover, Can't remember the title is as close to a modern day (except Live 8) real Floyd Concert as you're gonna get. The Sound is A1 and a VERY crisp picture

LIVE 8 box. Some high lights McCartney doing "Helter Skelter" the entire Pink Floyd Reunion. U2 putting in a nice set. Madonna does 3 songs, gets totally out of breath, and shows us how out of shape she is (have a talk with Mick honey)

Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock. The (almost) entire show - a must have !!

All the U2 live DVD stuff is great (where's "Pop Live in Mexico City" and "Zoo TV live in Sydney" on DVD?) Another Band that doesn't like it's mid period shows put out...hmmm, SO vain.

Beatles Anthology - gotta have this (even though it does tick me off that there's talking over the middle of the semi - live "Revolution" and "Hey Jude") Apple needs to put out a Beatle Complete Video's Disc Set. I believe a new, super long "Let It Be" is due out for Christmas, 2006.(lets hope it's not pushed back yet another year !!)

Potted Shrimp. If you ask me the White Stripes should put out a new Concert DVD every month. I had Blackpool Lights on the player for weeks. Could NOT get enough of it. From what I understand they do a different show everynight. Such a great Sounding, TOTALLY original band !!! Get Behind Me Satan is TOPS !!! (Meg is SUCH a sex kitten the way she pounds those skins - Pound Meg, Pound !!)

Satisfaction2, "Ladies and Gentlemen" was shot in Texas I believe (Fort Worth?)

ALSO, Forgot to mention "Pearl Jam LIVE" can't remember the title but they do John Lennons "Gimme Some Truth". I think it's NY - MSG a few years ago

Concert for NYC - the show at MSG done for the rescue workers after 9/11. Great, unique short performances by BOWIE, THE WHO, MICK/KEITH - "Salt of the Earth", 'Miss You"), PAUL McCARTNEY (rare version of "I'm Down") Whole bunch of other great performers. Very Special Show

Nobody had mentioned The Band's "Last Waltz". It's more than a concert DVD, but anyway. I love Queen at Wembley, too, I must admit.

And no mentions are enough for the Led Zep DVD.

Tom petty :Take The Highway

Only released on video and now deleted, the only way you will get it is second hand or bootleg.

I have the original video which is now knackered but got it on DVD off ebay.

I wish they would rerelease it.
