just to add to this already done thread, but after seeing her on the Oscar show last night, I'd say...Dolly Parton..!! preformer, businesswoman, strong survivor, she stacks! up in many ways

I really don't know, and no disrespect intended to either the good Dolly or indeed yourself - but neither do I care !!

Dolly Parton is thin! Or at least she had a cinched waist at the Oscars. She looked like she had a real hour glass figure. And no jowls or flab. She must have a brilliant plastic surgeon. She looks like she's about 36 and she's really 60!

Dolly Parton is pretty thin and un-wrinkled (due to surgery). Yet, she is 1000s miles from Mick's energy. She's like a paper-figure, she can just smile. I can't even imagine her jumping, swimming or even walk fast. That's very special about Mick, that he can move like a teenager.

Erik....i wouldnt mind seein her jumping....if she could get herself off the ground

If she managed to jump, the "weight" she carried would break every bone in her body, when she landed! Even her high-heeled sneakers would be forever gone.

Dolly on a trampoline. Now that would be an interesting scene.

Would you believe it Lukester!! I opened this thread again to write that. You beat me to it. Sick minds think alike!

On behalf of big-breasted women everywhere - you should be ashamed of yourselves.

That being said, I think watching her on a trampoline would be completely hypnotic. How could someone not watch that? They would be everywhere. I really don't know how she can stand. I think she's a total sweetheart, but I wish she wouldn't put all this shit in her face. They look like Jack Nickelson in Batman.

How can you tell which are Dolly's kids at the playground??????

Stretch marks around their mouths!

Well, it's not such a bad thing to joke about. It's the ideal look for millions of women around the world. It's worse joking about, let's say, fat people, people without legs, people with 2 noses, etc.
I read in an interview (from a Norwegian paper), that Dolly used to see hookers when she was a girl. She didn't know what they were, but she noticed that they were popular among men.
So, she tried to copy their style, because she wanted to be attractive.

Elmo...good one.

and CindyC, thanks for getting us guys back in line. I feel so ashamed now (but it would be hypnotic).

Hell, I even remember her as Porter Wagoner's singing partner. That's way back there. 60's country in South Georgia!

Like Mick, she is a very astute businessperson.

Lukester, did you see my reply in the Mayberry post - Re: Freddie Sessler?

Also, I wore the Pink Floyd shirt to a party Friday night and a dangerous beauty wanted it. She got it (the shirt). The torch has been passed. Thanks, friend!

I wasn't sure either, Cindy. Actually I thought you were serious, untill the second I pressed the post-button. Then I thought "how stupid I am".

Of course I know you were joking, darling. Among other things, I find your sense of humor to be endearing.

(I really wasn't ashamed)

Thanks! I return the compliment, my log-cabin living, cigar smoking, non-profit accountant friend. (I stole your style, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery you know)

That is so cool, CindyC, for me to be imitated. I am truly flattered, my rock star elbow rubbing friend from the city of famous tea parties.
