keith loves the key of "B"

Keith just loves the Key of B, and im just curious ifanyone knows why, Its a very diffuclt key to be Played it.........any comments

yeah it can be diffcult.
the songs that ive seen him play it in...(with a capo or not)

You can't always get what you want.
brown sugar
before they make me run
im sure theres a few more. but sometimes he switches the tunings. limitations or
what not

i dont think @#$%& is played in open-g

But the key of B is only relative;as in "No Capo". He mainly plays in B when he has the Capo on. Must have either to do witht he tesnion or the key for vox being right. But when he's open he will not play in B.

Umm none of these songs have ever been played in B.........

well, it could also be that it's a good key for Mick to sing in. I heard that that's the reason they play IORR in B these days instaed of E

Satisfaction is in E. It's Only Rock 'n' Roll was originally in E too but was converted to B becaus Mick had trouble singing it. Starfcuker is in E. Start Me Up is in F. Honky Tonk Woman is in G. You Can't Always Get What You Want is in C. Brown Sugar is in C too. Before they make me run is in G.
What makes you think they're all in B?

Reptile may be right.As a hobby guitarist I've never understood key signatures or which chords fit into them.

I am surprised that nobody has yet mentionned Midnight Rambler ,one of the most important songs played in "B" (capo 7th fret).
