isnt this sale for pre 9/5/05 members only?

If youre one of those people, you should use the code you were issued with when you joined...it'll be in your original e-mail or the 'my account'/'my tickets' section of your account info

if you joined after that date, you wont get a code until the platinum membership presale starts in a couple of hours, I would think

You cant buy tickets until the presale starts for Platinum Members

The only members who can access the presales that started 45 mins ago are those who joined before 9 May 2005.

I would guess that if the code isnt in your account when you go to 'get tickets' on the rs.com tickets page for the show you want, you'll THEN be issued with a presale code which is valid for EITHER of the 2 Australian shows (but not both)

I tried to get tickets for Switzerland with pre May code.
Whale tried today for another show: Here [iorr.org]:

It did not work at all. I even made copy and paste everything. Had the old code in "my tickets".. I wrote to rs.com. (no answer).. with E-tix it did not work. I claimed refund and bought a second membership the same day. So I could join the after may member presale. Unbelievable.. I think they have a technical problem, but don't listen to their members. Sad but true.

And of course tickets are $395.50 each, so it logically follows that that adds to $1778.65 for 4 tickets.

Can you belives the majority of these wank fees are called "convenience" fees?

Agreed MonkeyMan what a friggin' DISASTER - I tried at 9am then found out I had to wait until 11am which I did - the best seats on the floor had gone - plus $48 fee per ticket - they can stick it up their arses!!!
I didn't see any seats on the floor at 9:10am for Melb in sections A & B - if the real fans can't get those as a choice what hope have we got. Onto Visa tomorrow morning.

I've decided however the Stones, rs.com, visa or whoever can get fuc ked.
The amount of fuc king around I've already done not to mention the $140 shelled out for that cu nt of a site - I've decided the Stones can go jump.

These prices are beyond belief.
We'll get the same old 16 songs with a couple of newies and Keith boring people sh itless with TPIE and then bumbling thru "Happy".

Plane flights aside, the hassle and expense I've decided I can't justify.

I love the album but the Stones are no longer TGRNRBITW.
They're 4 guys way passed their prime with a dozen helpers on stage - they're just a big band these days that recycle the same old tired songs.
I wouldn't mind if the ticket prices were far below what they are - in fact I'd be happy.

That cu nt of a site finally let me thru to purchse the tix after hours of frustration and I was about to press the confirm button and thought "ah @#$%& this".

I have to finally admit to myself that the Stones are not worth it.
