mick taylor question

obviously mick has his own style of guitar playing that is quite identifiable, just by listening to a solo.
does anyone know anywhere online where i can find a mick taylor guitar lesson, or at least an explanation of the scales he uses? it seems to me he uses a half flamenco, half country scale for solo-ing in, it doesn't sound like standard rock scales.
any help would be appreciated.
but i can also understand if his playing style is locked away in fort knox somemwhere.

He did an instructional video on the Hot Licks label. As I recall, he did much more playing than instructing there, but does some explaining.

There are some "instructional" videos on micktaylor.net, but, again, more playing than instructing.

Some of his Stones solos are transcribed online using tabs.

I am not aware of any "musical analysis" of his work. Some might appear in guitarist magazines, but I am not aware of anything in particular.

He seems to rely on the basic blues scale, but he incorporates passing tones, which gives his work a unique flavor (for example, when playing in A, adding a B note to the basic scale). He does play in other scales though . . .

Hopefully, some of the many guitarists on this site can help you out.
