Now these are the topics I just don't get. I can see getting shot down for this but wtf... a) five songs? FIVE ONLY? This is a Stones site. It is impossible for me to even name my favorite 5 of Side A of "Metamorphosis" and b) we have a thread like this every hour and c) does anyone REALLY care what someone else's five favorite songs of the moment are?
Do some of us sit here and go "The dandelion likes Slave at No 3 today. Interesting...very interesting. And different from yesterday. Must make a note."

I respectfully disagree. There's nothing I love more than finding out someone else likes Jigsaw Puzzle as much as I do. Plus, when I hear what other people's favorite are, I judge them differently. For instance I was surprised to hear that one of Baboon's favorites is PIB. I would have expected him to pick something more obscure. It helps me to assign a personality to someone.

Satisfaction and JJF would have been numbers one and two had I not heard them a billion times. It takes the edge off of them just a tiny bit. And I know, how boring, go with the warhorses, but hey, those are two of the best rock songs ever by anybody.

Of course I've heard ALL the Stones' studio stuff more times than I could list, but as for those two ... let's just say I listened to my local classic rock radio station for about 20 years before permanently switching over to an all-programmed-by-me-all-the-time format. And the classic rock station played both those songs seemingly every hour on the hour. That and Stairway To Bleedin' Heaven. Love Zep, so sick of that song.
