I'm fairly sure Brown Sugar has been officially released in mono on 7" but I'm not sure about Bitch.

Can anyone let me know and perhaps provide an internet link which proves it ?

They are both on an unofficial cd called Acetates.

I've found internet reference to the mono BS appearing as the b-side to the stereo BS on a US Promo release but I'm not sure about Bitch.

I'd suspect they were released on mono as a radio promo release,
or somewhere internationally. These were fairly rare, but it was sill
done during the early seventies. There also seems to be a Japanese
mono Abbey Raod and Let It Be.

There was indeed a mono promo release that was on clear vinyl if I remember rightly, circa 1971. I've been trying to find a copy for years!

The reason I wanted to know was that a torrent site had an alternative Sticky Fingers up which included both of the above.
The site does not allow officially released stuff to be torrented and the torrent had already removed the Leeds Let It Rock......I was fairly sure BS had been commercially released but was not sure about Bitch.

Anyway,I guess it doesn't matter as the torrent has now been removed....not that I'm trying to act as a torrent policeman or anything,I'm all for bit torrent but didn't want to see the site get into trouble as I well remember the panic with STG when U2s lawyers started to move on them.

Clear vinyl promo, in 1971? Smells like a boot to me.

The entire "Sticky Fingers" was officially released in mono but good luck trying to find a copy. The darn thing is tougher than nails to dig up. I would love for someone to boot this and put it out on a cdr.

Brown Sugar/Bitch/Let It Rock was released in Mono only in the UK. I can't remember for sure but I think the German release (without Let It Rock) was Mono, too.
