I could continue this thread for hours but don't have the time. Obviously I think the best lyrics were written between 1966 (look at Mother's Little Helper or Paint It Black) and 1978 ("booze and pills and powders, I had to chose my medicine ... I wasn't looking to good but I was feeling real well). They're just great song writers, not more or less.

the "Rocks Off" sunshine line....hands down because it speaks to the truth of how the true "other half" lives
