no way dude, edge's hair is screaming to be covered by a skull cap for the rest of his career, although i guess its just blind love considering keiths hair looks like a rug thats been in use since the 70's but i love it
Hey, check this out. I live in Santiago and got an offer to work as a stage translator between February 20th and February 27th in the production of U2's concert in Santiago (I already did it for their Popmart Tour and it was ok. Must recognise I wasn't thrilled at all to meet Bono). That sounds ok, I'm a Law student in vacation... BUT, I already have my tickets for the Stones on February 21st and 23rd in Buenos Aires, with air tickets payed for. So I can't do both things! What would you do if you were me?
sixesandsevens go see the stones, i caught them 3 times at MSG and once in pittsburg, i thought pittsburg couldnt be topped because Pearl jam really made them kick it a notch higher, but these last two shows at MSG were the best that i have ever seen them, i dont ever complain about a stones setlist, theyve always been pretty concrete, especially since i am only 24 and have only been seeing them since bridges, but the last two at MSG were something special
Thank you guys. I appreciate your feedback. Will do that. I'm only 25 by the way, and these will be my 9th and 10th shows. Previous were 1 VL, 4 BTB, 3 BTB 98. Last time that saw them was Cologne 1999... that's 7 years. Moreover Buenos Aires is probably the best audience in the world: lots of energy and sing along. If any of you is going to Buenos Aires let's catch up: know a bunch of Irish Bars which can provide us the Guinness Ronnie is so fond of. Thanks!
Seriously- I don't know how there is EVER a comparion between The Stones and U2. Bono is a great humanitarian- no doubt about it. And U2 is a good band. But they are not in the same catagory as The Stones. Outside of teh Beatles no other band is anywhere close.
don't give me that ole one two, one two three four
I saw a young U2 in 1982 in a big outdoor show in Chapel Hill, NC as the warm up band for a solo Todd rundgren. U2 blew him away, and I was a Todd fan.
But I digress, did you all hear that Todd was going to be a part of the Cars reunion tour coming to a city near you?
