@#$%& Blues question

In December 1983 Decca Germany (Teldec) released the 4 LP-Box ‘The Rest Of The Best’ (Teldec 6.30125FX, Germany).
In December 1984 they released a 2nd edition of this 4 LP-Box, added with the one-sided bonus-single (no order number) '@#$%& Blues'.
I remember that I have read somewhere that they took this version of @#$%& Blues from a bootleg (incl. crackles), but I can't remember the name of this bootleg. Maybe someone else does?

BTW: If there's somebody who's got this @#$%& Blues single for sale, please contact me! smiling smiley

The first release of @#$%& Blues was an EP (actually just one song on each side) witch contained @#$%& Blues on side A and Brown Sugar (with Clapton) on side B. I own two mint copies but cannot check the order & matrix number for you as I am abroad for work.

But that EP was a bootleg, wasn't it?

When Decca Germany (Teldec) released the 'The Rest Of The Best’ bonus single, @#$%& Blues was officially released for a short period of time, until British Decca executives realised what happened and intervened.

Anyway, if the source of the @#$%& Blues version on the EP and on the bonus single are the same, I'm interested, Potted Shrimp!

The one sided singel was on, "The Rest of the best" first release 83.
I found it on following boots in my collection.
The missing years
Unplugged
The missing years
The Mick Taylor Years 1969-74
Gimme Shelter Vol 1
The Black Box

Yes, the EP was a boot, I'll be back home around August, get back to me then and I'll help you out Rene. The EP is worth owning if only for the great pic of Mick on the cover!
