I've always wondered what Mick and Keith's weight were in the 60's and 70's...I mean in that period they had to have been two of the skinniest guys alive.
Mick and Keith are both about 5' 10". In all pics with John and Paul, who are well-documented at 5'11", they are about the same height, maybe a little shorter. How's that for scientific?
I've heard Mick is 5'10". No way he is 5'7". No way at all. Have u seen him standing next to other ppl? He's taller than Steven Tyler, Usher and usually most other celebs when he's standing next to them. I would put money down that he's minimum 5'10". He's average. The rest of the boys are prob a little under. I dunno. I'm from ohio. seems like most guys here are about 6' even. I'm 6'2".
I think its the 4th time this is discussed since spring 2004. Mick is slightly taller than Keith. Mick would be 178-179, which should correspond with 5"10 or even some (lets call it "") "", or 2-3-4 "" that is one tenth av an Inch. Keith´s a little taller than 5"9, but not 5"10. Would make him 176. Donnow about the other but none is taller than Mick.

Nope Jed.... Keith says "he's SIZE eight and I'm SIZE nine." I believe he is talking about shoe sizes here.
Keith himself said it: "I'm five foot nine and a half and I ain't gonna get any taller". I seem to remember the exact words, it was in a BBC Radio 1 programme about the Stones maybe four or five years back now, can't remember precisely what programme, but I do remember that quote very clearly. And it seems to fit: Mick does seem just slightly taller at maybe 5' 10". Which for working class males of their generation is not particularly short. Just about average. Is not the same as Swedes born in 1970 for example.
Average length in Sweden for men circa 1970 was 172. Source: measurements of recruits in military serrtivce, 18-19 year olds. Some else convert that into Inches & stuff?
I did some teaching in mid-90s at the university & I can assure anyboddy that average length in Sweden for people born in early 70s, like martin says here, no longer aint 172, rather some 181-182 or more. Women I´d say 174-175. My prognosis for the future is that we´ll shrink soon; the 80´s youngsters might not be as tall, not here they wont. Exit luxury.
...But; the skinny state of the Stones lads is actually far more interesting.
I remember Wyman adressing this issue in his book, saying that many UK citizens born during and right after the war tend to be smaller in stature and attributing it to food rations, etc.

It isn't hard to stay thin when you can afford a personal chef who can cook you delicious low fat foods any time you want them. Plus they have plenty of time and money to hire a personal trainer and workout if they so choose, although I think Jagger is the only one who does.
