I host a Folk music programme here in Melbourne (3RRR Fm, we're online @ rrr.org) & several years ago I had the pleasure of interviewing Byron Berline the fiddler on Country Honk. He was a quiet sort of guy, not at all fazed by the fact that the Stones asked him to play for them. He mentioned that they couldn't get a decent sound so they just put him outside the studio, stuck a mike in front of him & the rest is history.
