"Copacabana" - Barry Manilow
"YMCA" - Village People
"Sugar Shack" - Jimmy Gilmer
"Macarena" - who knows
"My Girl" - The Rolling Stones

FYI: 'My Girl' is Los Del Rio. all the better to avoid the CD with.

Considering this is IORR, i thought i would do the stones-only edition:

1. Back to Zero
2. Sympathy for the Devil (flashpoint or any post-Steel Wheels concert)
3. Blinded by Love
4. Look What the Cat Dragged In
and last and probably least . . .
5. STREETS OF LOVE (could it have been anything else?)

"My Girl" is also Stones, Temps, etc..

I think a Stones 5 worst has already been done.

" My Girl"is a pure Stones song. Love it. No, kidding. It just reminds of warm souvenirs. But that's enough for being a great song.

All four "songs" on Metal Machine Music - Lou Reed

My Humps - Black Eyed Peas

Just curious. Has anyone here ever listened to Metal Machine Music all the way through and if so, why ?

I love MMM.
I've listened to it a bunch of times. Not necessarily something I'd put on at a party, but if you listen to it at the right volume, it's fantastic background music. It's also a wonderful F you from Sweet Lou - coming on the heels of Sally Can't Dance, set up with the bleached blonde Lou on the cover to fool Johnny Come Lately fans into buying, it thinking it would be Rock n Roll Animal part 2.
The only album I know of that comes with a warning sticker not for lyrical content, but for musical content.
God bless Lou Reed.

I'd Much Rather Be With the Boys (Metamorphosis)
(Walkin' Thru The) Sleepy City (Metamorphosis)
Sing This All Together (See What Happens) (TSMR)
Sympathy For The Devil (The Neptunes extended remix)
Blue Turns To Grey (December's Children)

I am not a big fan of Dirty Work or the latest power ballad either but I thought I would offer up some truly wretched tracks that are a little bit off the beaten path.

"Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey
"Another Brick In The Wall" by Pink Floyd
"The Remedy" by Jason Mraz

I've put that disc in my cd-player a couple of times with the intention to listen to it from track 1 'till 4.
I've never gotten any further than track 2.

When the Stones play covers, meaning recording songs from other artists like The Temptations, Robert Johnson, etc... I like those recording very much. Therefore I also like Harlem Shuffle, Just My Imagination, Love In Vain, Stop Breaking Down, etc etc...

Hey Marcia:

I think Red Rubber Ball was a number one hit. The group's claim to fame was that they opened for the Beatles during their 1966 tour.

Hearing that someone does not like House of the Rising Sun is quite a surprise. You are one of very few.

Even Hippy Hippy Shake and This Diamond Ring aren't that bad.

Now on the rap I'm with you all the way.

Virgil: You don't like Layla? Not even the ending? Aw man! Also, it's not legal to dislike Shattered; and Elton John had five or ten great songs. Philadelphia Freedom, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, Crockodile Rock, Your Song, etc. Come on and sing along!

Nicos: Now My Girl is just as much a Stones song as It's All Over Now and Time is on My Side, isn't it?

"make up your mind, 'cause I gotta go"
