Keith blames Mick on the Fan Club DVD

I just received my DVD from the Rolling Stone's Fan Club yesterday. Keith said that when he sings an obscure song such as "The Nearness of You," it gives Mick the courage to change the set list up a bit. He goes on to say that Mick tends to be very conservative when it comes to the set list.

Yeah Keith, that's why you played the same songs everynight this tour with the exception of eventually switching over to Slippin' Away...that really woke Mick up.

Maybe its a pisstakin between Mick & Keith after all:
Keith play those songs over & over & over just
to imitate MickĀ“s in his conservatism... ?

Probably true.....I was reading in a book (the title I've forgotten), about how Mick was mad about the state of the band's playing for most of the 1981 tour.

If memory serves the band didn't click on stage until a very windy day in Buffalo?....any one else shareing this hallucination with me?

the shoot 'em dead, brainbell jangler!

when I saw the title of this thread, I thought it meant Keith was blaming Mick for the DVD arriving 18 months late!

Yeah, I'm sure that deep down Keef wants to do "Key to the Highway" and an extended version of "Happy" a la Winos during his set, but Mick won't let him.

Maybe Keith just wants the fans who have seen more than one show to be able to use that time to maneuver over to the B Stage?

Since we're being petty, it's actually "you're" instead of "your"
