The Worst.
To me, the whole thing just feels a bit fake. Both the song and the video. Generic, AI, over-produced. Also, it would have been 10 times better if they appeared in the video themselves. Mick, Keith, Ronnie still looks great. When they had that comeback in 2012 with Doom and Gloom, they had a great video with themselves in actual appearance. I don't know what they feel the need to embrace AI in this video, because AI is everything opposite to The Rolling Stones.

Yes, the band Hot Property played Mick, Keith, and Ronnie.

They look tour ready. And one, two, three... so many drummers to choose from.
(Humour helps...)

The AI de-aging choice is interesting. Scorsese did that with the Irishman with Pesci, Pacino, and DeNiro. However, the cool thing about the Irishman was he actually used Pesci, Pacino, and DeNiro...
I don’t hate the overall concept, it’s fun and nostalgic, but without the Stones it just seems really generic. Maybe at the end they could’ve turned back into their current selves as a fun finish?
I guess I’m not getting a call back from casting for this video…
Do you know that the Stones didn't do their own parts and were de-aged afterwards? Or do you think the entire thing was fabricated from whole cloth?

Have the Stones asked BV for permission to use AI? I don't think this video is allowed on this forum..

It's just the Stones taking the piss out of the whole AI thing. As long as its a one-off then it's not only fun but worthy as a piece of self-deprecating commentary on the state of the music business's obsession with glamour, looks and youth.
I'd only be worried if they further went down this route but I'm pretty sure they won't.

Presumably this is the video for which a casting invitation was issued - anyone on here featured in it?!

Another opportunity: With AI you can have a new album released every year, including videos. You can also go on an AI tour every year. Kind of the 1972 tour on repeat.

Personally not real happy with the AI, but as usual the Stones do things their own way. I like others have not been happy with fake AI Stones songs coming out.

I think this is down to the production, i suspect it's been used before this, and before on others, explains how it helps artists after a dry spell, it all makes sense now. I mean compare this stuff to Crosseyed Heart thats organic, from the heart, it's the difference between night and day.
This new material becomes meaningless, anyone can do it.
If they make another album why would they need to pay a producer and hire studios.
For people that love this fresh vibrant modern sound and video it's a life line to them, there's plenty more where this comes from. But it's enjoyable so the attitude is who cares because we love everything they do beyond question, the fake interviews the whole illusion.
My argument is if you can have imitation Stones why do they need the Stones at all.

So we’ve moved from moaning ‘it’s a mick song’ to it’s an ‘AI stones imitation’ song. I think we need to respect the band and its songwriters more

After releasing this video, I think it is legitimate to ask how much of the music is real and how much is AI. Until now I would never think I would ever ask myself this question about an official Rolling Stones' release. Now it is on the table.
