To my ears, Rough and Twisted sounds like a re-recorded version of this clip, replacing Charlie with Steve and slowing it down to make it sound dirtier. I hear this clip around the 2:41 mark of the song.

Maybe one of our insiders can confirm or deny it.

The only song I can think of off the top of my head is Beast of Burden, but we’ve never heard the original version of it, only Keith’s story behind the change in tempo.

I would imagine the change in drummers would be the reason why the tempo might have changed. The only other song we know the band re-recorded with Steve was Driving Me Too Hard, but we’ve yet to hear the Charlie version of that song.

But like I said, maybe one of the insiders can shed some light.
