Yeah! Just got the whole BtB tour complete! (the last ones with trading) As a matter of fact I think I will wear the blue one (with the lion) on saturday night when I go into the town!!

Rocks Off I don't understand you! Don't you like the Stones and what they are standing for! When they sell the shirts I think they wear them also when they are not touring!

Yeah, I've seen photos of Mick wearing great shirts of The Stones.
By the way, Barbabang do you also have the Bridges shirt from Mexico?
I thinks so, traded that one for a song, I think it was called "After Muddy and Charlie". I think it was from 1973. The trader said it was not from the stones, but he liked the song so I gave it to him. A pitty I don't have this anymore and I don't no anymore who I traded this with.
After Muddy And Charlie?! Are you sure? This song isn't released yet on bootleg as far as I know! But you gave it away without making a copy for your self?!!!!!
Is it really a Stones song then? I thought so when I had this tape! But that trader said it wasn't! I guess it was stupid not to make a back-up copy for myself!

if this is tongue in cheek, its the funniest post on here this month

That's how it pretty much goes for me as well. Although, I didn't buy any on this tour due to lack of funds! Those shirts cost a bloody fortune, at least here in Canada.
I like the baseball with the tongue...but I bought the hat instead.
I DO like the idea of making a unique shirt for each event...but some are ugly and if you bought EVERY one...well, don't they kinda look the same (except for colors) after awhile?
But, to each his/her own. If that's your collection, it's cool.
The aesthetic appeal of Stones t-shirts with each succeeding tour appear to be increasingly inversely proportional to the dramatically rising price of them.
The ones on the last tour werent that great. The ones I've seen from this tour seem even more hideous. That 'corn' one that came out a few weeks ago is easily the worst Stones t-shirt of all time.
No Offense but most of the shirts from this tour are just plain ugly. Wouldn't even think about wearing one. I might use one to wash my car. But not to wear around out in public.
sometimes i wear the stonewashes shirts from the voodoo-lounge tour, but not at the moment.it's to cold outside for presenting t-shirts. i wish i could wear my 1982 shirts, but unfortionally they are to small for the belly.

I used to years ago when Stones t-shirts were quite good
but - using some of this tour's t-shirts as an example including the one posted abpve - I wouldnt wear some if them even if you paid me to do so
I prefer the more 'minimalist' ones now (ie small tongue, small writing etc). These garish, loud ones are hideous. And tie-dyes I've never saw the appeal of. Yuck.
the tie-dyes just look like someone has vomitted over themselves.
I've just got this mental picture, of some dude somewhere, who works in an office, and on "casual fridays", wears a tie-dye Stones shirt, a flashing Tongue pin, a Stones baseball cap, etc ,etc I'm sure he's out there somewhere... the amount of tacky merchandise they shift at their concerts, someone's got to be commiting crimes against fashion.
Interesting input. I don't think you should be able to buy the shirts that are specific to a show, on-line. It's a memento of the show, so if you weren't at that show, why would you have it?
