After studying art, he maintained his passion for painting throughout his life, alongside one of the greatest careers in rock history. The exhibition ‘Ronnie Wood. The Artist’ at the Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen reveals another side to this extraordinary man: works in which he engages with the Old Masters – including Delacroix, Rembrandt and El Greco – and reinterprets their visual worlds in his very own style. Did anyone by chance see the interview Ronnie gave a German journalist where Ronnie said he would be present at this exhibition in Tübingen? It was obviously on German tv and made at the Foreign Tongues presentation in NY.
