Hello
I do not want to be rude but everything of this is our fault. Rarity, exclusive tickets or event or whatever is due to the stupid fans we are.
Hey, what about the general stressful crisis to win tickets ? And « win » is certainly not the good word according to the price we pay. Imagine how many lucky dip tickets for 1 show ? Probably less than the cockroaches LP.
Before internet, you had to queue personnaly in front a store to score a Nice paper ticket. Now argentina comes in Paris, and be sure of my full respect for argentina fans.
The only way to stop this kind of stupid story is to stop participating to.
At the end of the day, it is a rich people problem.
Now, honestly, i tried to score on, in Lyon France. Not me, my son because i am travelling, i am in Budapest, no copy at all in Hungaria…
One of the gps point close to my home is a very small village with absolutely no music Shop. The gps point shown a dance school !!! And the phone number given is « non affected ».
Sad sad sad but i do not miss anything.

I’m very curious how this album will be. This track is a killer for stones fanatics but is clearly not the single. when are we hearing Mr Charm? Part of me has a queasy feeling this could be the other song they did with Sir Paul

Ive never had a problem getting LD tix, and since they are based on the unsold tickets for an event, i dont have a problem with how they are handled or the seats ive eneded up with (granted ive gotten pit 2x and 100 section another) .

I applaud the petition!
If the band released the track on Spotify and other platforms the next day?
I think that would have quelled the uproar.
Toronto, a city of 3 million people, got a cheesedick 12 copies!
The store was in a part of the city that is awful to get to.
Parking is a nightmare.
Standing in line to MAYBE get a copy?
I'm recovering from surgery, travelling, waiting in line was not an option for me.
I did call, offer to buy one, I offered a premium to the clerk and pay for shipping.
She tried but was unable to help. I understand the store's reasoning, but I'm disappointed all the same.
I hope the petition is successful.
Yes, BV, you're entitled to your opinion!

La numérotation est assez bizarre
Vannes : n 4 de vendu
Quimper: n 149 de vendu
La France aurait eu 150 exemplaires
sur 1000
Cela me paraît difficile
Hello Gégé ;-)
Congratulations on snagging a copy in Quimper!
There were only 50 copies available for the 20 selected French record stores. Some major cities were completely overlooked in favor of smaller towns... you needed luck in terms of location as well as speed.
Only Gibert in Paris had 6 copies; the others had between 1 and 3 copies max.
Something B.B.
50 makes more sense than 150, so all stores had at least 2 copies it seems ? Do you know how many Montepllier had, if any ?

You’re not alone, according to Georgelicks the first single is a “very catchy pop- rock song”. Please let it be better than Mess it Up…..got to trust these guys lol

Not really. 99,999% have no clue whatsoever that The Rolling Stones have actually released a new single, and even if they read about it somewhere they don't care cause they can't even hear it. This marketing campaign only intrigued hardcore super fans, no one else would spend their time figuring out the meaning of Natchez and 1.41. Compare this with Hackney Diamonds, where they had an actual press conference with Mick, Keith, and Ronnie present and the release of a new single with a killer video. Angry has got about 50 million plays both on Youtube and Spotify. At the moment, Rough and Twisted has got zero plays for obvious reasons. In terms of marketing I don't think this has generated any excitment among non-fans. It was a marketing stunt that only hit super fans, and it ended up annoying them while the general public didn't take any notice at all.

The big launch is still to come.
Thousands will now be aware that something is coming soon

All French record stores were identified by the "players" with varying degrees of speed.
I am with BV on this. There should’ve at least been a digital release.Quote

Dear BV,
With all due respect and grateful for what you've done for the community, I'm surprised to get the impression that you don't approve of how The Cockroaches single was sold (out.)
Normally you tell the community to be happy with everything — ticket prices, set list, the fact that normal hardcore fans don't get access to special gigs, etc. — and now you launch a petition. Could it be that you did not get a copy?

The information in bold is fairly reliable; it's mostly all documented in this thread.
I tried to count everything, but I'm missing some information, such as the number of shops in each country.
I estimated the total number of singles based on the available data and my own assumptions based on that data.
For example, Germany is relatively well-documented. There are 11 locations with shops, and the number of singles per shop is fairly reliable (except for Tübingen and Hanover). So, I estimated the "reliable 98 singles" for Germany as a whole to be between 110-120.
Perhaps some more usable data will be helpful to make the table more accurate.
Sorry for mistakes.
