I was on line for the NYC location for about an hour. I was 7th in line and there were about 15 people total in line. Owner came out 5 minutes early and said they only got a shipment of 3 copies which went to the first 3 people in line. I was a little ticked that he didn't do some sort of raffle to make it fair for everyone who waited in line for a while. Oh well.
I personally really like the song. A rocking blues number. I think it's a great way to kick off the album if it really is the first track.
A user on Reddit sent me a very clean sounding version of the song which I can send to anyone interested. Just reply with your email!!

For the stats - as they seem to be being collected, there were 10 on sale in Brighton. I missed out by 1.
Brighton UK I assume? What store were they for sale in? (No big deal, just curious...) TIA.

Please release more copies of "The Cockroaches" vinyl single "Rough and Twisted"
This is an open letter to The Rolling Stones management and marketing people. Please release more copies of "The Cockroaches" vinyl single "Rough and Twisted". Same format and price US $10.07.
May be numbers 0001001 to 0100000 i.e. 99,000 more copies, im addition to the initial release of 1,000 copies only. Normal channels, larger volumes, kill the black market current asking $1,000 to $2,000 om eBay. Then very disappointed fans will be pleased, and everyone will be happy. It is a long time to wait until the new album is being released in July.
On behalf of all Stones fans - Thank You!

Having a rare version of something where 99,9% of the people miss out on is not new and no problem for me.
Not having the song available to the fans is not ok.
I just don't understand the marketing at all. Marketing is ment to create and boost demand of the target group. It just doesn't make sense when the demand is there but there are not options of leveraging it.
Like someone said; it feels like they started on a great campaign and then they just forgot about the most important part.

In this thread I have seen at least three different links, going literally to a wav or a mp3 file. You click on it, and then you download the file. Mission completed.
I would upload it up here, if I knew how to do it.

A simple solution could be their own Cockroaches store. Add another tab beside the T-Shirt, replace the coordinates links on the record flip-side with a link to their own store and sell further Vinyl copies online. Then add links to external streaming services / download stores as well.[iorr.org]Quote
