I can tell you that Saturday's mystery event isn't a club gig. I'd be highly surprised if they announce a new tour also.

A cockroach on the tip of the tongue would be a tasteful logo

During college, I was once awakened by a cockroach walking across my lower lip. Fortunately, I didn't taste it.

What did it most recently look like? Has this just gone back to neutral?
Noted that the Racket was not listed as a tour date (o which of course makes sense)

Back to the subject of Natchez:

There's a Bowie's Rabbit Hole pub located in Natchez.

A connection to the Ziggy Stardust album seen on thecockroaches.com? Or just another... rabbit hole? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

(Credit goes to PunkSaxMixll on the Steve Hoffman Forums for pointing this out.)

This sounds to me like something they would do (a club gig or press conference in Natchez); something that would maintain their interest

Mick knows exactly which song appears on which album.

Do you have a proof for that? Maybe Mick is just interested in other things than to know which of the 440+ RS tracks appeared when & where.

Mick does NOT put on a Rolling Stones album while reading Le Monde, eating a croissant, or drinking coffee. Just like an author who writes a book and then puts it on his shelf. Do you think the author will pick up the book and start reading it years later?

So, yeah, Mick will mix up the albums due to age, distraction, and mis-remembering. Kinda of a human thang, no?

All this to-in and fro-in is making me lose interest.

I played with the idea that maybe the reason for the high Paradiso Ronnie pieces AMD the tba special guest is that it will be a Stones gig in reality.

Oh.. hmm.. but what if Ronnie Wood fans paid a lot of money for tickets to hear his solo work, and then suddenly they get to hear Jumping Jack Flash again?

You might have replied to the wrong post/poster. Dunno what this thread has to do with remembering songs during a concert. Please create a new thread: "Mick Jagger's involvement in setlists". Again, back to The Cockroaches.

This is getting crazy. No way there is a tour with zero rumours before. But the official website is hinting bigtime.

When you click on tour on the website the hackney tongue changes to all kind of different ones

Yep. Crazy. So I don't expect a tour. Maybe just a few special events/shows.

I wouldn’t put too much hope in this website change. Since before the whole website was all about Hackney Diamonds, it just seems they update it for the new era…

I mean could it be like 2-3 shows in London and New York or something in the Fall? That would technically not be considered a “large stadium tour” or whatever the reasoning was when this year got scrapped

The site says tour and dates. Difficult to not get hope from this

I think the page was updated just to move away from the Hackney Diamonds visuals, in preparation for The Cockroaches' announcement; but I truly hope for some shows dates in the future.

There’s an album planned; if you update the website and the tour page, there’s a reason for it… lets hope

The tour page has always been there since the website existed. They just removed all Hackney Diamonds visuals from everywhere now. But I'll gladly be proven wrong winking smiley

And that they chose not to remove it entirely .. that’s enticing!

I wouldn't put too much into the layout changes on their webpage. A long tour is out of the question. An announcement of a full tour will break all routines and patterns that we have learned from this band for the last 20 years or so (as well as all logic concering their age and recent tour cancellations). It would be the first time in the internet era without any solid rumours or leaks before a tour announcement, a major marketing achivement that they have never managed to pull off in this day and age.

If a few shows are announced, I guess it'll be something similar to 2012: A few warm up shows + a couple arena shows in London/NYC. (If Ronnie add members of the Stones touring band as his backing band later this year, that might be a clue that they are oiling the machinery.) But my bet is a London promo club gig like the Racket show just to perform a few songs from the new album + a couple of well known hits. Maybe even billed as The Cockroaches somewhere in London.

while i think a racket style show is possible this year all the folks with inside info have said that the days of tours are very likely over

and whatever full shows maybe left are likely not gonna happen this year

of course i hope this is all wrong and there secretly planing a tour to support the new album but it really doesn't seem likely

What I hear is that there will be one last album and "a few final shows" to end their run.

No tour and no residency.

RAH is what I hear. MSG is also a possibility.

To those of you who do not know me, I work for Ticketmaster/ Live Nation. TO those who know me you know my information is legit.

This will be my last post on IORR.

Thanks to BV and others. I have enjoyed the ride.

There will be no tour this year, all the staff have been released to pursue their own activities in 2026, only the album will be released and the rumors are that the focus of promotion will be that it is the final studio album of the Rolling Stones.

The only way to not have info leaking is booking smalls clubs under a different name.

I have hope that something os happening and i have a feeling that it will be before the world cup

If they can't do a proper last stadium tour (and we know that it won't be for 2026) then live stream seem to be the perfect substitute, if the network can handle the traffic.

Let say one in UK, one in the US and one in Asia

Maybe it's a farewell tour in UK?
Like in 1971.
Ending shows by " Till the next time , we said goodbye"
