From the product details:

"Touring has been in our blood since the very beginning. There are countless moments and memories that we've shared with fans across the world over the years, and we're thrilled that so many of them have been captured in this book. - The Rolling Stones"

"This is the official, fully authorised celebration of the greatest live band of all time. Seven decades. Six continents. More than 2,000 shows. This is THE ROLLING STONES: ON TOUR."

"Over the course of more than 60 years, the Rolling Stones have redefined the rock-and-roll concert time and time again. From the humble clubs and music halls of the 1963 British Tour to the vast stadiums of 2024's Hackney Diamonds Tour, more people have seen the Stones perform than any band - ever."

"Fully authorised and produced in official partnership with the band, The Rolling Stones: On Tour is the definitive celebration of their incomparable career on the road. Chapter by chapter, tour by tour, it follows the Stones across the globe, detailing their evolution from aspiring blues musicians to the biggest live act the world has ever seen. A visual feast for Stones fans, On Tour is illustrated with hundreds of rarely seen photographs, artworks and pieces of memorabilia from the Rolling Stones archives: including tour posters, ticket stubs, backstage passes, concert fliers and much, much more."

"Featuring a text from author Paul Sexton (Charlie's Good Tonight: The Authorised Biography of Charlie Watts), which weaves in first-hand accounts, contemporary reviews and original interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, this is an essential book for Stones fans the world over."

so we get a book instead of a tour…

amazon Germany's price for the standard edition is 51,99 Euros and 99,24 Euros for the deluxe edition

btw.: ain't it quite surprising one of only six posters is from the 2022 show at Gelsenkirchen?

I'm more curious about the inclusion of Minneapolis.winking smiley But seriously I think a book of all official tour posters and gig posters would be incredible.

Didn't we get an "official" book in 1998 already ? Must have that somewhere...well guess there have been quite a few tours since, nothing really new though compared to the previous period ;-)

Ah here it is : [www.amazon.com]

"A Life on the Road - 1962 to 1998"

After reading the notes Irix, posted there are no interviews with Bill which is surprising and tells me there will be a missing perspective.

They could also release the book along with the recording of a live show (e.g. At The Max) - and later on the new studio album. Who knows, many possibilities.

Ordered the standard edition, just a slipcase and some poster reprints thrown in
doesn't justify almost the double price for the so called "deluxe edition".
That's ridicoulous,at least for me.

Thanks for trying lrix. Unfortunately Amazon won't deliver to Portugal and the other site refused the order. Tried Amazon.de and there's 2 sellers with 2 star ratings, so I'm going to pass for now.
