OT: The Guess Who 2026 tour with Don Felder

Having finally gotten their name back, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings will be touring this summer with Don Felder as the opening act. Seems like an odd combination but i'm sure he will draw a lot of additional fans.

They've already done a few warm-up shows (w/o Felder) including this one as part of a Rock Legends Cruise fest.

Saw them probably 10 years ago touring as Bachman/Cummings. My brother had free tickets from his office so we went. He wasn't a big fan of Guess Who or BTO but after the concert he said he knew pretty much every song!
They finish the tour locally in Vancouver at the new Amphitheatre at the PNE which is almost completed. It is one of the viewing areas for the upcoming World Cup which Vancouver is hosting 7 games.

I saw The Guess Who as part of SarsFest in Toronto 2023 with their classic 1969ish lineup, including Bachman, Cummings.

They were the 2nd best perfomance that day, only behind AC/DC (and I am not an AC/DC fan, never owned a record of theirs).

The Stones, for me and the crowd in general, IMO, were in a battle for 3rd or 4th with Rush (who I am also not a fan of and have never bought a roe cod of)

The Stones were just very flat. Instead of minutes between most of the bands, there was a long wait for the Stones. Maybe they partied too much with friends all day. But they were very flat. Keith showed he had some fire in him, getting pissed about someone in the crowd throwing something at guest Justin Timberlake, but it did not translate into playing with fire.

Cummings voice has gotten very nasal (maybe too much blow in the day), but I will still probably see them in Toronto. They have a great catalog that I grew up with alongside the Stones, The Who, J Geils and others.

Don Felder seems to play our area fairly often. He draws a couple of hundred people here. Not sure what he brings to the bill

My mistake then, thought he was more popular than that. A couple hundred people? Why does he even bother then..that's gotta be a money losing proposition.

I never seen them but am thinking of seeing them in August here. Before they retire.

I saw them when they had Steely Dan opening. I was just a kid, my folks took us.

The Canadian Beatles - or Lennon/McCartney as the case may be.

I first saw them about 1971-72 and a couple time decades later just before the legal thing blew up. The last time was at the Sarstock show and the next will be at the new amphitheater in my town this summer.

I saw them as 'Bachman-Cummings' a few years ago. This is the same band under the 'Guess Who' banner.

Cummings is definitely past his prime as a singer but can probably still pull it off for one more go-round.

The new PNE amphitheatre in Vancouver BC looks cool, but something tells me due to the hefty and over budget price tag, tickets won't be cheap. The days of 'free' or $20, or even $50 shows there are long gone.
