Isn't that the first slide guitar solo by a white guy on a rock'n'roll record?!!
I think this takes the prize of the most awkward band interview ever. Even Dino was better than this. Poor guys...
I cannot find a "white" slide guitar solo that came earlier on a rock'n'roll record than played by Brian Jones.
I don't think there's even a white blues slide player. There's some white slide players from the 1910's and 1920's in Hawaiian music, but I think Brian Jones is the first ever white slide player in blues and RnR, so say since late 1930's.

Hawaiian slide players maybe even in the late 19th century, using different tools to create the effect. But yes, like I wrote, Brian maybe the first, although I doubt he did it in the late 1930's already.
