No, not really. I was tempted to ask what the purpose of this thread is, actually. It seems like he has just listed the songs, with no context. Are we meant to discuss the merits of each song, or have a chat about how we feel about 'lengthier recordings'? Anyone? What's this thread about? Big Al, a representative from confused.com

ok maybe goin' home isn't there best but that's a little much
they most certainly could play the blues well by 1965
though admittedly they got significantly better at it by the late 60's early 70's

In my opinion, they were at their best as a rhythm-and-blues during the 1963-1965 period. From 1966 onwards, they began to evolve into something different. Yes, I guess that 'musically', they only improved as time went on, but certainly, in terms of recordings, the blues and rock 'n roll are most greatly represented on those early-to-mid 1960's recordings. Their U.K. debut is a masterclass in youthful energy and enthusiasm.
