GnR on the other hand have at least a much bigger name than Ronnie Wood and a much better guitar playing than most acts.

What's the difference between Amsterdam and the London show? I see similar sized venues. The only difference is the unannounced special guest for Amsterdam. But that could be Imelda May as well. It just was not safe enough when Amsterdam got announced.

Probably the same sized venue. So no difference. It was just that Amsterdam was announced first. But the real draw for Amsterdam is seeing the IORR Band.

I wouldn't even pay that kind of money to see the Stones. Imagine being in the awful Kentish Town forum on a blisteringly hot August night, no air con, restricted views, everyone with their phones in the air, Ronnie stumbling and barking his way through his terrible solo material. My idea of hell.

I saw Jack White for about £75 last year (or was it the year before?). Either way, that price would make more sense.

I think £200+ may be the ticket equivalent of the Fonz jumping the shark - this gig would have sold out long ago had tickets been priced more reasonably

When your resume includes Jeff Beck, The Faces, & The Rolling Stones, plus jammed with just about everybody - Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, The Band's Last Waltz, McCartney, Bob Dylan, and even Jimi Hendrix, you're not exactly going to let people in for pocket change, even though I agree £200 is a bit much.

Ronnie does not clown on stage. That was years ago. During the most recent Stones tours he has been focused and brilliant on stage from my point of view. I sm looking forward to seing him on stage later this year.

Look, I like and appreciate Ronnie as a Rolling Stone; but this is a solo show by someone who has never had a high-charting album in the U.K.; nor a hit single in his own right. £200 is a ridiculous price, considering that London is a already enough of a rip-off city. It's not even a nice venue, in a nice location! I'd rather catch him opening for Eric, in those beautiful Royal grounds.

These shows will be packed. A Rolling Stone in a small club, when the Stones are not touring...

It's simple: Supply and demand. And time will tell that the price is right.

Remember, we're also paying for the experience here. This is not 200 meters from the stage, glancing at screens. IMO, it's worth it.
