At first, there was nothing to be found on [TimRies.com] and his social media or Chanel Haynes' [Instagram.com] that they'll play at this event.

But Craig Braun posted on 4-Feb-2026 on [Instagram.com] and Chanel Haynes posted on 8-Feb-2026 on [Instagram.com] about this event.

As a preview: on June 6th, 2026 Dick Taylor and on September 5th, 2026, Chris Jagger & Band will play in the German [StonesFanMuseum.com] .

Here's a large picture from the hotel gallery. From there, it looked as if this collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia was already there and had then been expanded. See also the pictures on [Facebook.com] .

This is part of Gentrys collection and was recently placed in the hotel. It hasn't been there for very long. I have many more photos of the museum that I can share, I just don't know how to easily add photos in this forum. I've posted a few on the Shidoobee FB page, as well as mine, as an example of what you will see.

Interesting. Tell us more about the collector and how it came to this collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia.

Who is Gentry?
Is this parts of his personal collection?
I don't know him. Does he go to Stones shows?
Does he have an online precence?
Will this museum be permanent, or will it move around?
Is there a press release?

Hey BV, Im happy to answer all these questions.

Gentry Allen is a 30 something year old from Alabama. He's relatively new to the Stones community. He has been amassing a huge collection over the last few years from multiple scores, including Matt Lee, myself, Ebay etc so yes this is his personal collection. He has been attending several shows on the last couple of tours including the Racket Club. Yes he is on Facebook and Instagram like most fans. A website for the museum is under construction. The museum is permanent at the Renaissance Shoals Resort - certainly for the foreseeable future.

The current press release is just the flyer as posted above.

I hope that helps.

In a way I feel sorry for Chanel Haynes and other back up artists around the band. I think they are those most affected by the ending of tours. They had a very reliable income, kind of a dream gig, going on. Now all that is gone.

I've got something else scheduled for the 13th, that's why I was hoping the exhibition would still be open on the 14th! Thanks for the info, I'll be there for sure.

He's also on [Instagram.com] and [Facebook.com] .

The first one is empty, under construction - just collecting contact info for people, and the two others are just closed social media, I was looking for real press information, on an open, publicly available web site.

There is a fine line between doing an event, and using IORR for collecting contact info for Stones fans.

His website says: "Drop us a line!" - and my idea was that he should get a message that a real press release (publicly available) is still missing.

Richard Fox is posting here on behalf of Gentry Allen, and I have been asking for more info here several times, still just a site collecting customer contacts, so I am not happy about this project, as it is promoted here on IORR. IORR is a non profit site. Trading at this high level is pretty much the opposite.

IORR is a non profit site.

Yes. But with that, fans wouldn't be allowed to post about releases by ABKCO, Universal Music or 3rd-party merchandise, since it's in the end about earning money.

This new memorabilia exhibition in Alabama costs $20 entry. The German [StonesFanMuseum.com] has an entry fee of €10 and the German Stones Pavillon has €8 entry fee. And if the Stones-collection by Matt Lee would be publicly permanent accessible, I'm sure it would cost an entry fee too.

It is not about the entrance fee. It is about using IORR for business purposes, i.e. customer data collection.

The site as posted was an address mining site, with no real data - completely unacceptable on a non-profit web site.

There are the smaller items markets, where fans buy vinyl, books, any kinds of an item normal collector may afford.

Then there are the high end markets, where a guitar is signed by Ronnie, or Keith, or an album is signed by all four or five, or a rare early 60's poster costing USD 30k, or a car owned by Mick or Keith worth USD 300k or more. Or 50 limited Gibson's signed by Keith at $50k each, then soon after sold at the double.

It may be hard to see why I do not accept customer mining here on IORR, but there is a reason. Every day I turn down advertising requets on IORR, and the same goes for more friendly or creative advertising.

"the world’s largest public exhibition of memorabilia dedicated to the Rolling Stones"

Is that really true?

Its certainly in the conversation. Matt's isn't really open to the general public. Ulrichs is very large too, but Gentrys is possibly ahead of that? What other ones are on the list Koen?
