LOL! It was the best a Stones fan could get in 1984 so it still has a place in my heart. Neat to see Mick and Bill interact particularly as he would leave just 7 years later.

Congratulations - I've always wanted one. I have a very hazy memory as a 12/13 year old on a coach trip to France in the early 80s seeing one in a bar that we drove past but that's the closes I've ever been to one.

Beautiful Man! I have looked for one myself - but the condition was always so bad. I have fond memories of playing the machine at a Omaha blues club in the 80’s. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

Curious how many IORR fans have a RS pinball, I purchased the Bally 1980 pinball in July 2016 from a Recording Studio in Nashville (near mint) and shipped it to Sydney Australia, purchase price was $4,000 USD, another $300 for freight within US to my agent and $550 US to freight it to Australia. Will put some photos up shortly.

There were 5,700 of the 1980 machines produced.

Speaking of which, there's a couple of varieties of Stones themed slot machines - last time in Vegas I played one at the New York New York casino.

I recall hearing that approximately half the machines went to US, other half for Europe and UK.

I think most of them went to bars, pool halls and other more adult type establishments...which probably explains why I never saw one in the flesh until I bought mine.

I have seen this machine offered for $2500 to $7000 over the years, always out of my price range or wrecked condition. I see the newer version up on ebay now for around $8000.

I wonder how much I will have to pay to obtain one for myself... someday...
someday when I have the money... and the things above it on the " I WANT IT" list are obtained.

There is no doubt this machine is one of the coolest pieces out there.
I would love to have the pair. This old one and the newer one.

cool pictures of the promo flyer on ebay [www.ebay.com]

I stopped at my local marijuana store to find they had a Stones pinball machine there. It's a big store. Not only that, it was free to play!
