Its the elephant in the room, we might not ever know officially why Keith doesn't want to commit to touring with the Stones.

Get Taylor in to flesh out the sound if Keith’s playing has diminished.
I had the unique pleasure of enjoying an entire Rolling Stones evening with Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood only on guitars. It was a Friday Oct/Nov 2012 in Paris at the Planet Live studios. Keith had left for London that day, a new family member was born. He is a proud family first man.
The songs rehearsed with Keith missing all night told me one thing: No Keith means no Stones. There was a lot of slide guitar and solo playing, but the famous riffs were missing. I am sure many guitarists may do riffs like Keith, I have in fact heard some, but it is not nearly the same.
It would be like kissing a complete stranger, as opposed to kissing your one and only partner. It is all about love and passion.
Many fans live for the 2-3 songs Keith is doing live at the Stones sets. Without them, and Keith on the other songs, it is like a Mick Jagger solo show. I was at the El Rey show, Mick solo. Great show, but it was missing the backbone and soul - the riff master Keith on guitar, and his warm grin and smiles, of course.
Anyone who have had s guitar pick hand delivered by Keith himself understand what I mean, it is a true memory for life, given by the legend himself.
No Keith - no Stones.
Also, no Mick Jagger - no Stones.

Wait, isn't Keith saying so through the channels he has reason enough. Maybe if we let it rest for a bit we will get what we want or at least what we need.

Just got a mail from "The Rolling Stones " with christmas greetings:"wishing you all a very merry christmas and happy holidays.See you in 2026" AI explains that "See you in..." is used as a farewell phrase to express that one will meet again at a future event, project, or simply during the year 2026, often at events planned for the following year, such as concerts, festivals.> Postponed doesn't mean cancelled?

Now we’re breaking out ChatGPT to analyze “see you in 2026”!It’s a marketing email probably in a template, not the Zapruder film.

maybe just the usual marketing mail sent shortly before Christmas – with '2025' been automatically replaced by '2026'

I don’t know anything, but when both BV and Stones Doug are strongly implying it’s the end of touring, I tend to think it’s the end of touring. Maybe we will get a one off here and there but I view that as unlikely given the prep necessary to sound as good as they would want to sound. Maybe some solo pop ups like Ronnie does but I’m guessing we have seen the last of the Stones live as a band based on my reading of the tea leaves from BV and Stones Doug’s postings. They are definitely in the know. Of course things can change and we can hope!

My two cents
I don’t believe his arthritic hands are as much an issue (played 3 song mini set a couple weeks ago), I tend to believe it’s the inability to stand for the most of a 2 hour set now. We’ve all seen his walk and gait being much more gingerly and tepid than even 5 years ago. Don’t see him being comfortable sitting majority of show while Mick is jogging a couple miles per show.
My two cents.
You will see Keith standing and moving well for an entire show but it won't be with Mick.
Utter conspiracy theorist nonsense - give it a rest and have some respect for Bv’s comments of the other day

I’m fairly certain that yorkshirestone is referring to keefriffhards’ comment; not yours.
