Heard about this a few weeks ago. Amsterdam seems to be full.

But rotterdam had its last concert this year in this venue forever. It was a big deal. But info comes from multiple sources. Press in NL will pick up monday or tuesday for sure

Weird

On the rotterdam festival website this exact calender is there. But misses the 15/16 dates…. [www.rotterdamfestivals.nl]

Also stadium feyenoord is written otherwise. Strange…

The doc with 15/16 event is legit. I just found the link.

So there is an event of b or c cat (which means pretty big). But if it would be the stones?

2025 was the last concert. It was a big happening. Cant see them pulling back from this as the stadium received 13m for no concert compensation.

But I also heard this rumour. Hope it happens

Last year before Di-rect played the last show in De kuip there was also a Stones rumour maybe thats the confuse

Would they actually still fill two shows at a venue as large as the Kuip (which doesn't do concerts anymore) or the Arena in Amsterdam? I would really doubt that...

That's a valid point, actually. As popular as the Stones are, are they quite popular enough to play two stadium-sized shows in one city? In some, perhaps. I think they could pull it off if they're strategic with locations.

There's not two shows rumoured, it's one show either the 15th or 16th June. They'd never play back to back nights these days.

They don't have to be back-to-back, of course.

There will be no more concerts in De Kuip, that was a deal made by the city of Rotterdam
that paid a few millions of euros to the owners of De Kuip to compensate.
I will never enter the stadium in Amsterdam ever in my life.
Horrible place.
Rotterdam Ahoy would be great. Loved it in 2003.

Something very big is for sure happening at Stadion Feijenoord a.k.a. De Kuip. All hotels near the venue do know what is going on, may be one of them is crew hotel, all of them offer non-refundable bookings only for June 16, if you book 15-17 then some offer refundable booking. Some ask for 500-1,000 Euro per night, some are even full on June 17. Very strange situation in the hotel scene during June 15-16.

Thew two last shows of the 1995 tour in Europe were at De Kuip in Rotterdam. The sound and the mood was fantastic, I was there. During the last show, Darryl Jones was on the final bow, a magic and emotional touch, which I wrote about in my IORR magazine back then, that was a year before IORR got live on Internet. I know The Rolling Stones feel the same about the venue, so who knows, may be the city make a deal, and they do the final De Kuip show there.

The stadium will receive compensation for this from the municipality of Rotterdam, but will continue to host other events. Hotels near De Kuip are exceedingly expensive during these two days, while Rotterdam isn't the most expensive city in the world...

According to Booking.com, 72 % of the accommodations in Rotterdam are booked up June 15 - June 17.

if there's one thing for sure: the Rolling Stones have the means to buy anybody out.

Hmm I thought the Di-rect concert would be the last. De Kuip would collapse at the next rock concert.

There seems to be some pushback by local politicians over the decision to ban concerts at De Kuip.

There were rumours last year about a concert at De Kuip and maybe (I don’t know pure guessing) they (local gouverment) made an agreement with the Stones management as one exception to do a show in Rotterdam

In the same week there are already concerts planned in the Amsterdam ArenA
