Man just be glad they are still performing, in five years time they all will be dead and gone.

Well Mathijs,if that’s what your crystal ball is saying, more reason to get Keef involved.Maybe you should dust that crystal ball down ,or buy a more optimistic one.Doom and gloom I alive and well.

Keith just played it, though, on the charity gig. Loved it!

Well, considering their age and all that's related to it, the odds would be quite sizeably against that likelihood. Still, you never know! winking smiley

yes you never know

and your probably right but then again who ten years ago would've predicted them touring into there early 80's

i know there not gonna keep going into there 90's but i think it's possible (though unlikely) they continue until 2030

Well, journalists were questioning their longevity as early as 1975. Of course, it really ramped-up around the time of Steel Wheels, continuing thereafter until the question stopped being asked.

The bottom line is that we simply don't know for how much longer they'll continue. I have long held the belief that they'll never announce a retirement officially, but common sense will tell us when it's time; when it's improbable to continue.

Richards and Wood sure are outliers on the actuary tables!

If there's cameras and the opportunity to play the guitar, Ronnie will be there! I wonder how many times he's appeared on this annual show, now?

I'm assuming that - as with Later With Jools Holland - this is being recorded at the BBC Studio at Television Centre.

This Wiki page has info from the 2006/2007 Hootenanny onward. Ronnie did not appear during that time.

I do believe that even when he isn't performing, he can often be spotted in the crowd of revellers.

Yes, I'm sure he's appeared on Jools Holland's shows' on numerous occasions: with Slash; promoting his 'autobiography', and other times, too.

Very nice! He's singing much better than years ago.
It's just great to see him still performing!

It was dreadful - a travesty - painful to witness. From the expression on Jools Holland's face, watching Ronnie...if there had been a pistol on the piano, he would have shot him. A negative first post from me. in '26, which is a shame... but really... I can only imagine that if Mick sees that train wreck, he will be furious There are Stones recordings on that album he's flogging after all.

I thought he deserved credit for just doing it… vocals not fantastic but that’s hardly a big surprise… Mother of Pearl ‘got going’ with Imelda May. Fair play to him

Interestingly Jools said in the RW-interview that the Stones dropped some plan in New York, that's why RW could make it for the Hootenanny telerecording (must have been around December 12)!

I like this version Ooh la la. Well guitar notes and he sings better than Dylan do.
I always have hope for Ronnie solo show.

you haven't been listening to Dylan for a long times, have you?

If you had ever been to a Ronnie Wood show you'd know that his voice is not able to a carry a whole show. He needs some singer.
