I could see them doing an 'eras' style-show. Starting in the 60s with Brian, moving through the 70s with Mick and then onto Ron's era. I don't really see how else they could do it in a fair, comprehensive way tbh.

I wouldn't care about the Stones do an ABBA-style concert. I'm convinced though that many Stones songs could be re-arranged for (past) ABBA style music and vice versa.

Dancing With Mr Queen??
In open G.Seeing how Bobby Keys, Charlie ,Billy Preston,Steve Madaio, are no longer with us, and Taylor and Wyman are not in the band, what would be the point of it?They had an opportunity to have Bill and Taylor join them on stage at the same time in 2012 and2013 and chose not to.Quote

I would love to see a '73 or '78 era Stones avatar show. I am sure this will be a thing many legacy acts will do (I heard Jimmy Page is working on it).
What era would you love to see?
Of course, having a '73 era Stones would mean no SMU, MY etc - but perhaps they won't be overly concerned with historical accuracy.

I hope they only do this when live performances are truly no longer possible, but I do believe something like this could be really cool. Especially in combination with artificial intelligence.
For example, I can imagine AI making it possible to have Brian Jones play on Beast of Burden. Or Bobby Keys playing the sax solo from Hackney Diamonds' Get Close. With Ian Stewart on piano.
I realize that not everyone will be thrilled with this kind of historical distortion, but I think it will be possible soon.
