I came across an incredible flight deal to India roundtrip out of Toronto. I want to take it but fear I would miss part of a potential tour since the ticket is in May for $400 USD.
It's on Virgin Atlantic so there's a layover in London both ways. I guess I could just take the London leg if there were a tour and lose the rest of the ticket at that price.

… which enables us to tell on which dates the Stones won't perform certain places.

Deep Purple: smaler venues
G&R: indoor shows, no stadiums, one festival
Oasis might announce European dates

From an insider: tickets on sale since late January
Italy seems will be granted two shows (venues unrevealed, yet)

Quite a few stadium tours announced and on sale from others already -
- Foo fighters
- system of a down
- the weeknd
- my chemical romance
- maiden
- linkin park
- zach Bryan
While not a lot of stones fan overlap, venues likely common (eg sotd at spurs stadium and stade de France, weeknd at stade de France and so on)

After all this years in IORR I can't understand this immense speculation and guessing and hearsay business prior to tour announcements.Pages over pages of nothing solid to rely on. It's neat in a way. Like children talking about what they probably will get for Christmas. I know that all those posts are an enthusiastic impression of looking forward to a possibly tour. A form of anticipation. But why not just wait and see and celebrating the announced tour-plan and discuss and post than on things which will really happen. Just a though. Never mind.

- Sharing rumours can have the effect that information pieces are getting together so rumours are becoming more solid. Sometimes they start small and then become solid.
- Rumours provide opportunity for die hard fans to make arrangements before prices go up a lot.
- We are fans. Even a rumour of a show in your country is something that could make you happy and excited.
It's basicly just fans helping fans. For me; I never understood people who don't understand the speculation and say 'just wait and see the announcement'. Even more I never understand people complaining about this in the topic that is specificaly ment for talking about a RUMOURED tour.

I have booked fully refundable hotel rooms based on rumors. Once the tour is announced, the hotel prices jump up and the rooms sell out quick. Rumors can be quite useful sometimes.

This happened last year too: the other bands book stadiums first and announce their shows earlier than the stonesQuote

This initially complicates the Stones' schedule for finding stadiums and cities for the tour
(as happened last year), and furthermore, if they do confirm it, it could affect ticket sales since many people have probably already spent their money buying tickets for other shows
I know many people mentioned "insurance reasons," but announcing tours SO CLOSE to their start date doesn't seem like a good idea

Yeah, it's crazy. Last month, Rush announced fall 2026 tour dates, into December of 2026.
