Realistically they won't play any songs from HD. Instead they will focus on 1-3 songs from the new album. I guess...
It's more likely the 2026 tour will feature new songs from the new LP and one or two from HD similar to 1981-82 with ER songs included as new and 1989-90 with U and DW songs included as new/incorporated as a nod post-release previous tour.
Granted, those set lists were similar for NA and EU both times because of the new LP at the time but they did include one to two previously not toured before LPs so for EU in 2026 count on something if not a couple from HD, with, as usual, nothing post-1981, most likely nothing other than Start Me Up in regard to that year, with possible exception being You Got Me Rocking if anything post-1981 is performed.
Although perhaps they'll play Out Of Control instead since YGMR seems to be more North American.
That's an extremely logical expectation: they will ignore all except very likely one song from 1983-2020.

Since the World Cup doesn't end till July 19, I don't think the tour will start till July 20 and end around the beginning of October. Also the Rolling Stones have only been doing one tour a year since 2014.
Yes, but for example, the 2018 World Cup was in Russia. Mick had time to fly from London or Poland in a private plane; he was there in two to four hours. It's not the same as crossing the ocean to the United States.Quote

They toured during the World Cup more than once before. And I see no reason not to do it again. But I guess they won't do shows on the days of and around the semi-finals and the final – just to be prepard for the rather unlikely event that England gets that far.

I think Mick will have his eyes on the World cup from the Quarter Final stage onwards i.e. from 9 July. Early May to early July tour? Looking forward to more here on (rumoured) places and dates!
World Cup draw takes place 5 December.

Yet they played in the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
Christiaan's memory is correct: Yugoslavia played Netherlands on the 29th of June 1998, the same evening The Rolling Stones played at Amsterdam Arena. The goals and final result (2-1 to Netherlands) were announced on the big screen during the show.

yes that would have been great. Really like that song. But I would also liked to have heard
Tell Me Straight
By Keith. I did the first two shows Houston and New Orleans and the last two shows Santa Clara and Thunder Ridge Arena, but at none od these shows he played the song. Sadly for me only at few shows in the middle of the Hackney Diamonds Tour
But you got. to hear Out of Time & Time Is On My Side, two awesome rarities!

Appears like they indeed mistook the Helene Fischer show date for a possible Stones show date. Otherwise no news here, only some cautions speculations about a potential show in Vienna and the new album potentially being released in time for the tour start.

Really confusing, they mention the Stones to play Munich Olympic Stadium at the Helene Fischer date in Allianz arena. But Olympic Stadium is actually being renovated in 2026.
