First cautious speculations about two shows in Vienna in 2026:

Ha - they quote iorr!

Yeah, they do! I forgot to mention that.

I believe the two-Vienna-shows speculation stems from the fact that at some point, two Vienna shows were rumoured for 2025, and they believe that a 2026 European tour would cover roughly the same cities as the 2025 tour would have covered.

Personally I'm not so sure if they could sell out the Happel Stadion twice, like on two (nearly) consecutive days, but then there is the this-could-be-the-last-time factor.

Here's roughly the same speculation from another Austrian news outlet, however not mentioning IORR (albeit obviously informed by IORR):

And yet one more (German page, now, again mentioning IORR):

While there doesn't seem much to be going on in the Happel Stadion in Summer 2026 (as of now), there's still a number of events in the Stadthalle (e.g., Zucchero in June) that the Stones people might consider when checking for potential show dates.

I'm pretty sure they would take care for whatever potential shows not to collide with the football world championship. Not so much because of being football fans but rather because casual fans might easily prefer watching a match over seeing the Stones.

You’d have to think USA/Canada tour in 2027 if they’re able.

The World Cup starts on June 11th, and both Mick and Ronnie certainly won't want to miss the matches with their children.

Who knows how many more World Cups they'll be able to watch.

The tour will be scheduled around the World Cup calendar, and I wouldn't be surprised if the tour is split in half with dates before and after the World Cup.

well, for the first time 48 countries are taking part in the World Cup. This results in 104 matches within some 6 weeks. In short: Nobody will be able to watch all matches.

All of that assumes that the World Cup will not be abandoned by FIFA. IMHO a distinct possibility.

very unlikely (just follow the money)

Last tour during a World Cup they played right up until a week before the final.

But I'm sure Mick wants to watch more, since England are more likely to win this one...

like on previous tours they won't do shows when England plays (or might play). Thus there will be no shows on July 14th + 15th (semi finals), and on July 18th (bronze final) and July 19th (final). There's the time difference between the US and Europe, of course. But I can not imagine that Jagger is really looking foreward to go on stage shortly after England has been defeated once again (opening with "you made a grown man cry. You @#$%& it up, @#$%& it up, @#$%& it up"). On the other hand it would be great if they'd go on stage right after England won the World Cup (but chances are very slim…).

Possibility of the Tour starting mid-late July, into September? To avoid the World Cup altogether, and give the new album some runway?

BV said the tour can start in April (first post of this thread): "Several sources talk about April 2026 as a time of both the album release, and tour start".

Well, you clearly don’t know my colleague worker. He always takes his holiday during a World Cup or euro championship. He literally sees EVERY game. In the final group stage, when games take place simultaneously, he watches half of the games after the first series. They do exist

There is a post on the band's social media today about the secret show to launch the 2005–2007 A Bigger Bang tour, perhaps a secret show to launch the new album and new tour is being considered?

In the Facebook group "SHIDOOBEE with StonesDoug", user Flo DG posted a rumor about the Berlin date being May 25th

Date makes sense, it's a public holiday in Germany (Pfingstmontag), they also used this free monday when they played Munich last time.

Can’t believe in May 25th for Berlin.
On May 23rd is the German Football Cup Final in Olympiastadion, so they would have just one day to build the concert area.
No way.

On May 24th is Bob Dylan's 85th birthday. Hard to not to play 'Like A Rolling Stone' on that day or the day after. Thus I hope they don't play any show I'm going to one of those dates.

Thinking of the simple stages used nowadays I don't think that this would hinder to have the stage ready two days after a soccer game. But who knows, olympiastadium should be available for enough other dates.

Let's See if they skip Munich and have a concert in another south western part of Germany.

Munich is rich so if it's possible they will do it. 2 days for setup is too little for Berlin. Impossible because it's effective 1 day since showday doesn't count.

Lots of other dates possible in Berlin.

And Metallica will be playing there on the 30th.

No room for the band that week.

Well they could always charge even more extortionate rates than usual to make it worth their time...

If there's enough demand, they could play Waldbühne additionally to the Olympic Stadium like in 1998.

That's exactly how I feel. The whole year — since the 2025 summer tour was off — has been devastating, feeling like I missed out on seeing them live, but now hope is back, thanks to BV (again).

April is too cool for outdoor so move inside I presume. They should do June to August

Biergarden season in Bavaria starts in April. For sure it's warm enough for outdoor concerts in Europe then.
2018 they started in the middle of May in Dublin, which is not southern Europe.
April would be perfect for countries in Europe where it would be too hot nowadays in summer.
