Just saw it today in Silver Spring md, USA. 15 persons. Great memories of catching the Urban Jungle in 1990 in Paris and in Turino, Italy.
It seems to me that they sped up the frames during BS and Satisfaction; Mick's running like Speedy or the Road runner! Funny but I don't know why the production did that.

I saw it yesterday at the Max Cineworld at Resorts World, Birmingham. There was no more than a dozen people in the auditorium which was a shame. Really enjoyed the film though, the level of detail that IMAX filming brings was incredible, some of Mick’s jackets looked incredible. Well worth a trip down the M6 on a Sunday afternoon!

Saw it on Friday and was surprised that we (about 12 people) didn't recieve any 3D-glasses to wear which I expected. I am glad they show it even though I feel 89-90 is the least representable period of what the boys really are live.

What made you think that it was 3D? IMAX does not equal 3D it equals mind blowing high definition and glorious sound and huge images.

The film was shot in 2D maybe you confused this with Atlantic City where some songs were broadcasted in 3D.

Nothing wrong with that since there're also IMAX movies in 3D. And the newly remastered 'At the Max' shows the Stones-members clear & sharp in the foreground while the background is slightly blurred. This gives also a slight 3D effect - see the trailers in this thread.

I had the same feeling.
I don't remember which song but I noticed the tempo was faster than I am used to from that tour.

In the new release of At the Max, there is a new edit of the video. I think they shortened the video when Mick was stabbing Skippy in the balls during Street Fighting Man.

[youtu.be]

Poor Skippy! Mick deflated his masculinity.

You mean that the screen in the second picture wasn't shown ?

The clip (from the DVD I presume) below is what I got yesterday

video: [www.youtube.com]

Edit : this feature one of the few close up on Bill. I noticed another one during the first half of the screening, I forgot which song, then a second one during the atrocious screen effect of 2000 Light Years from Home.

I saw this last Friday in Knoxville. Only three other people in a 500 seat auditorium. The IMAX was impressive making you feel right on the stage. My first time seeing them live was Voodoo Lounge so this was new for me. I liked the setlist and hearing Rock And A Hard Place from Steel Wheels. If there is no next tour nice to see this as a farewell.

I thought it was for one night only?

The 10th I had a dinner previously booked so resigned myself to not going, if I had realised it was on for longer I would have gone.

Lorelei McBroom, one of the background singers in the IMAX movie, has a page dedicated to her time with the Stones and also the IMAX movie:

Although they didn't announce up front what the run would be, I think that might've been the norm. When I booked for Friday I could see a Saturday and Sunday show available too.

I am late responding to this thread, but I didn't have an account in december.

I went to one of five or so showings in Lansing, MI (US). I hadn't seen it since 1992(?), when some friends and I drove a few hours to Detroit for the only iMax in the state.

I had a great time seeing it again, and my 16 y.o. enjoyed it too. There were around ten people in the theater, pretty mellow. I had flashbacks a few times, the strongest was the solo for Sympathy for the Devil. It was good to see Wyman again (and almost hear him, ha). I am glad I heard about the release on the forum!

There's a re-screening in Japan on February 27, 2026 - [www.Universal-Music.co.jp] , [TowaPictures.co.jp] .
