One of the greatest voices of pop/soul (yes, her music carries soul). I listened to her back in the day but only really got into her as my musical tastes matured. I was really turned onto her music when I listened to a cover album of her songs, Time and Love - The Music Of Laura Nyro - which I highly recommend to y'all. Check her out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I absolutely love Laura. What a songwriter with an incredible voice. She is missed.

As a songwriter, Blood Sweat & Tears' cover of her "And When I Die" track remains a favourite of mine.

Stunning singer and songwriter too. Todd Rundgren adored her and you can really pick up that he learned a lot from her singing style, especially in the early 70s.
