In either one I love what Keith's playing when there's no guitar, he's really laying some licks down!

Does anyone happen to know if a cleaner (i.e. without the "Jukebox" notation) and unedited version of this Promo #2 video exists? I love this promo version but hate how it cuts off at the end before the song finishes.

The Stu version was aired on May 6, 1976 (TOTP, BBC), unfortunately incomplete. The next TOTP broadcast with Fool To Cry was on May 20, 1976. This time the new version without Stu was aired. I only now of some re-broadcasts from May 6 which are in excellent quality, but still incomplete. The jukebox version might be an overdubbed mix of both versions. I've never seen it elsewhere.

Thanks BlueTurns2Grey for the additional info on this promo version, much appreciated. I didn't realize that the more common Promo version (without Stu) was actually Promo version #2.

760501A 1st May: Kiel, West-Germany, Ostseehalle. Shooting of promofilms.
Director: Bruce Gowers.
- Crazy Mama (MJ/KR) -full playback
- Fool To Cry 1 (MJ/KR) -live vocals on prepared backing track
- Fool To Cry 2 (MJ/KR) -full playback; STU on piano
- Hey Negrita (MJ/KR) -full playback
- Hot Stuff (MJ/KR) -full playback
Note: Fool To Cry 2 was telecast on Top Of The Pops on May 6.

"Prepared backing track" is the studio version where Mick sings live, with or without the album vocal present. Playback is strictly miming (it's not debatable that only Bill seems to actually mime, the rest of the band screw off; for excellent evidence watch any of the TATTOO YOU video singles) to the LP or single version.

as much as I like Stu's presence and contribution, the other version is more precious thanks to the live vocals (as far as I know the only B&B video with live vocals)

Stu isn't on the recording, he's only in the video, which was done inbetween shows 4 and 5 at the venue for the fifth show of the tour.

Nicky Hopkins plays piano on the recording.

Complete TOTP from May 6, 1976:

...and from May 20, 1976 with the other version.

Thank you so much wiredallnight for posting these complete programs, I really appreciate it!

For those who are interested, the Stones segments begin at roughly 24:42 and at 53 seconds, respectively.

Speaking of "Fool to Cry," I love this live version from Paris in 1976. Keith plays a fabulous guitar, soloing throughout. This playing should've been on the record.
