Today exactly 30 years ago I was able to see the band playing their 2nd show in Paradiso Amsterdam. I can't help thinking about it today. Unforgettable day it was.

These 1995 club shows are among the best performances from the Stones.

I was at these shows. I still have my passes somewhere in my archives.

I really wished when they released Totally Stripped they included also the 2nd show in the box. Although I think it will never happen but i hope some day it will see the light of day.
I still have good memories that i have seen the show that day on a big screen at Museumplein.

One of the greatest Stones performances of all time, judging from the videos I watch constantly. I wish I was old enough to have gone.

That time span is absolutely magical. Something happened with The Rolling Stones with those shows.

Absolutely a treasure.

It is amazing to think the Paradiso shows occurred 30 years ago! time goes by fast! I didn't attend, but find the recordings of those shows two of my favorites!!

These shows were the Stones with Ronnie at their peak, best non Taylor Gimme Shelter ever.

Jack Nicholson said he partied with them all night long the previous day, then after watching them play live thought he was having a heart attack, he laughs out and says "just one show, all i did was jump around and watch ". cool smiley

Those European theatre shows are certainly something special; and yes, it is a shame there’s still one yet to see a release: the only ever live performance of the Voodoo Lounge B-Side, I’m Gonna Drive.

Ranking the released shows is certainly a challenge! They are mesh into one, for me.

I think what’s on our minds if there’s a soundboard version of the song.

I was at both shows through luck, good contacts, and pulling out all stops in traveling from Philadelphia to Amsterdam 24 hours before the first show. Over the years, I've come to realize that those are among the best Stones shows I've ever seen, including MSG 1972 and Hampton 1981.

I was at both of the shows as well. I think we were all shocked at how deep they dug into their catalogue.

They pulled out songs none of us would ever have expected.

In fact, all of the theatre shows which I saw on this leg of the tour all have unique set lists including Olympia & Brixton.

I remember when the cd bootlegs started showing up shortly after the shows. It was clear that was some special stuff. As fun as El Mo

The Foottappers And Wheel Shunters Club Gig (VGP) is the only acceptable release. All the others are really bad, recorded from the "public viewing" outside the Paradiso.

Yes it's ok now. I know what is available from the 2nd show. My question was the answer to the statement "You can always listen to the album." And there is no (officially released) album of the 2nd show!

I wasn't aware those releases were from the 'other show' Why on earth did they opt to not release the show, alongside the otheres?
