thank you very much for sharing

awesome!

all the more so because this is a local show for me and lends credence to my belief that seattle got one of the best shows from that tour

(for people who've had a taste and want more check out captain acid's version of this show filefactory.com )

and this would be king 5 according to info on the kurator site (fellow washingtonians will know what i mean)

in case people didn't notice on the kurator site there's a tab under the video to download it

the one labeled proxy

on a related note i know someone who swears he watched a clip of the stones performing onstage at the coliseum on local news in 1972 and wonder if he saw this instead and after fifty years just confused the two

there is footage of fans outside the coliseum in 72 that exists but i've never found footage of the stones themselves

But wait! There's more!

Go to the kurator site and search "Rolling Stones" (INCLUDE the quotes as that stops results about things rolling or just the word stones)

Mick Jagger is kicking ass on that 75 video in Seattle; lot of energy, working the micro stand like a @#$%&. I love it!

I think about how melodramatic silent film actors were. They were coming from the theater where they learned to make big expressions for the balcony. I get this vibe from Mick in this footage. There are no video monitors, so he's gonna jump and make large gestures for the cheap seats. I wonder what Mick's stage presence will look like to folks in the future who take for granted shows with video monitors providing hi-res close-ups. This sort of showmanship is obsolete when a performer can shake their hips and wink at a camera. And yes, I love this vintage footage and want another tour.
