If you read what you shared you would know.

British Press was announcing 4 London shows in summer 2025 as part of a European tour (which was not true). To me, this part of the article sounded like something that could be excerpted from previous articles about the summer tour, therefore my question.

I've heard Steve Winwood is on a number of tracks on this project

No you haven't.

Whether he has or hasn't, I have read that too.

Keith's work on the album is finished, he's back in New York and went to the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday. Mick and Ronnie are still in London with Andrew Watt, completing the final overdubs.

They'll probably finish everything in a few days, and the album will go into final mixing, which will be finished by the end of June.

HD was finished and mixed by early March 2023 and wasn't released until October, more than 7 months later.

Nowadays, many artists finish albums and hold them back for months or years until they're released, so it's all in Universal's hands to decide when they want to release it.

It was ready for release much earlier than October - they held out for the vinyl, which dictated the entire release.

Not the case this year.

Keith looks happy and satisfied. And why not? Knowing that there is an ace album, with all those dynamite riffs captured, coming out soon... Makes a grown man smile.

Dynamite riffs ? That's right, the 3 he mentioned in 2015 (?) have yet to see the light of day AFAICT !

Yeah his Vintage MD Nike sunglasses from 2014 looked better on him I'd say ;-)

Yeah, they definitely suited him. For me, you can’t beat the classic Wayfarer by Ray-Ban. I’ve had my pair for years.

This is the stage where Keith leaves the studio happy with things, the killer riffs are all over the album, then things occur when he's at film festivals and chiling out on the beach , the team tweak a few knobs and mix a bit of this and a bit of that, and hey presto Keith's riffs are missing winking smiley

I remember Keith in an interview promoting the Undercover album and he was not pleased with the sound when it was finished, like it had nothing to do with him haha. Charlie commented some tracks even had different names to what he remembered working on.

Yeah, but what I often asked myself is who actually is it who turns Keith's usually great work into shambles or are these just cases of shit happens when you leave early and let others do the dirty work?

Stevie Winwood or Stevie Wonder on THE new album ??

From what I have read the only thing we really know is that they were in the studio and have 13 songs they are happy with.

The rest is all dreams, hopes and speculation.

The Stones are loosing integrity, they have become so fractured at this point in time, what happens now effects the past. Would Keith and Mick of the 60s and 70s have had anything to do with the product that's being put out now as the Stones.

So desperate to be valid in some way or another in old age they are open to let whatever will happen to their legacy.

Hmm, some good points there. But maybe some of us are willing to accept any product they put out. I think people would be uncomfortable with this perspective.

it has absolutely no effect in any way whatsoever on there legacy

nothing (and i mean nothing) they have done past 1981 will be remembered or factored into the way future generations think about the rolling stones

future biographies about the band will end at 1981 and sum up the following 50 years of there history as

"and the band continued performing and releasing music until 202?

the end"

mick could turn out to be a serial killer with 40 bodies buried under his crawlspace and that fact won't ever enter the mind or color the way someone listening to paint it black in 2125 views the band of there music

all these debates we've engaged in about how much we hate or love this song, album or performance in the last 45 years will be completely meaningless to people a hundred years from now

there legacy is set in stone

this album and these debates are for us and for this moment and will not factor into there legacy in the least bit

now could you at least wait until they release it to criticize or praise it?

We understand that you don't like their new music and you don't want a new album. We get it. Message received.
