I don't believe anything unless it's from bv or the band themselves.

For those, like me, who don't know a great deal about this 'Metropolis Studio', this Wikipedia entry is an interesting read. The building is Grade II Listed and is actually named 'The Power House, Chiswick' As it's only up the road from Shepherd's Bush, perhaps the Stones will consider an album launch at the famous Shepherd's Bush Empire! Deeply wishful thinking, of course!

I just heard a rumor from someone in the ticket industry that there is a major act trying to book an extended residency at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.
Anyone know this place?

That stadium would possibly be available between 3rd and 10th September (international fixture break), but the football season starts in August.... not sure they'd want the pitch being messed up so early in the season?

A few shows was mentioned. As a possibility. But specific.Quote

I could see them doing a Racket-type show in London in November - a few guest stars - showcase cuts from the new album, just to get everyone hot and bothered and buying it up before Christmas.
I don't see a tour though until 2026.

Under the traditional sense of the word "residency," where artists could play up to several shows a week at one location, The Rolling Stones could only play up to two shows a week.
Is there any venue open for over a week to do 3-4 shows? Plus add in 3-4 days for load-in and out
A venue would have to open for a month for an "extended residency" by The Rolling Stones.

Maybe they'll call the new album, Shepherd's Pie?!
FOR THE COVER: A stack of film reels, cd's/dvd's/blu ray, an Ebike tire, the meat pie on top of that with wax figurines of Mick Keith and Ronnie on the very top.
I need me a slice of Shepherd's Pie!

But it was indeed from Bjørnulf - he stated it was a fact, not a rumour.

This is all purely speculation on my part but maybe….just maybe we are getting the part 2 of HD, a more KR influenced record and mixing schedule a la his suggestion of an alternate title to HD being Smash and Grab. It would be really cool if the boys dished up a more raw, less produced collection of songs as sort of a mirror to HD. Once again, I haven’t a shred of evidence that this is the case but that would be really cool. Nevertheless, a new album possibly before the end of the year would be a lovely gift.

This article from Independent covers everything that has already been said here about the new album, but it also says "the Rolling Stones are reportedly planning to announce UK shows in the coming weeks, after issues over venue and travel options were resolved". [www.independent.co.uk]
Does anyone know if there is any truth about that or if it's old news about the cancelled summer tour in a new article?
