Apparently Paranoid instead of Black Sabbath. On paper, this looks like a great show. Haven’t seen any video besides GNR.

Wow, a show of legends, Ronnie sounding fine on Train Kept a Rollin, Steve Tyler was impressive. Vocals were a bit flat, both Axl and Hetfield sounded dull, like they were eq'ed without presence. To mitigate feedback? Awesome show, concert of the year?

i knew he could do it

just like my mom slurs and mumbles when she speaks more softly but when she yells or sings clear as a bell

good for him that he got to do this and pulled it off so well

i'm not the biggest ozzy/sabbath fan but that was a great performance and no one could argue all involved (ozzy especially) didn't give it there all

I'd love to know why Steve Tyler cancelled the Aerosmith farewell tour, clearly permanent vocal damage was not the reason.

Steve sounded as good as ever.

Ronnie looking great, it's hard to believe he's 80 in two years time.

Unfortunately,Steven has lots of skeltons in his closet.
Legal issues with a minor is one of them.

Tyler can sing a few songs but a tour is a different beast. Most bands can't afford 2 shows a week. Not sure how Mick would sound every other day for a month.Aerosmith can't afford the Stones schedule either.

he looks so freakin' effortlessly cool in the above photo

and this after not being onsatge in almost a year and now twice in few days

hope he spends the rest of 2025 like he did most of 2023 popping up onstage every few weeks somewhere until the stones need him again

He was like a breath of fresh air with Rod last week, he just goes on and does his thing, never fazed by the big occasion.
Wish I'd been there, first time I've missed Glasto in years.

Yes, didn't really think of that, you never know, I'd just love to see Aerosmith one last time.

Steve is the next best thing to Mick imho.

Please don't ever wheel Mick (or Keith or Ronnie) out there in a glorified wheelchair that looks like a throne!

It's getting to the time when so many performers that have given us so much entertainment need to give it up now.

Listening to 80 year old Rod Stewart in an interview last week saying it's so easy for him now to do a 2 hour show because he's fitter than when he was younger, then saying he and the band have a good long drink after the show to celebrate, he's totally in denial.

In 1991 Jethro Tull opened their show with Ian Anderson wheeled on stage in a wheel chair by two 'nurses' - of course he jumped out of it as the music started and did his usual show. Nice gag but wouldn't really fit the Stones.

And don’t forget Kurt Cobain in a wheelchair at Reading in 1992. Funny shit!

Steve Tyler the surprise of the night. After the cancelled tour to see him singing like that put a big smile on my face. I know 3 songs vs 2 hours a night non stop for a year is not comparable, but potentially they might think the odd couple of gigs or even a single finale show could now be on the cards. Also looked incredible for a 77 year old. Something to be said for growing old disgracefully.

I too am impressed by Steven Tyler at the show. I thought he was permanently retired, but he looks and sounds great. Very pleasantly surprised to see him performing at all much less so well.

Hey Andrew Watt... maybe you can help the boys in Aerosmith out?

What are you banging on about now, who are you to tell people what they can discuss.

It's incredible Steve is back, even stronger than last time out this year singing at Jam for Janie, potentially we could get some shows, Steve just needs to maybe hold back a little on the vocals like Mick does.

Legal issues with a minor is one of them.

Looked into that, a federal judge dismissed the case last year.

I don't think 3 shows into a farewell tour that would be the reason to cancel the tour.

I watched that 3rd show he sustained the vocal injury, he was singing perfectly right to the end of the show.
